We went to this a&w on Thursday, July, 26th 2018. I went to the order speaker and ordered an kids pack, Baby burger with Fries and an Apple Juice. She asked me “With cheese?” “Yes, please.” “Small or med Apple juice?” I thought that was odd and asked for small. I never been asked which size with a kids pack before. “Small please.” She said “$8.00 please”. I responded with “That was a kids pack right?” She must have not heard me. As my husband and looked at watching other and said “That’s not right.” While we were driving up to the window. So I get to the window and see two women. One at the window and one standing by the tils/food area inside. I said “That was a kids pack right?” “Yes, sorry I did that wrong. It’s $6....” something in change I can’t remember. I reiterated “that was the burger, fries and apples juice. Right? I was wondering what was happening. No worries.” And I paid. Then she closed the window and said “The food will be a couple mins.” Then a black ram truck pulled up behind me. She smiled and closed the window. 2/3 mins later she handed us our apple jucie, napkins and straw. It took another 3/4 mins and then she opened it up handed me the bag and quickly closed the window. No have a great day or the saying they are supposed to say when the customer is handed their food. I thought it was so odd. So I got my husband to look in the bag and we found a burger and 3 A&W lollipops. No fries. I paid $6 something for a kids drink, baby burger with cheese and no fries. We pulled to the end of the drive way and chatted for about 30 secs trying to decided if we were going to back in there and complain. I already wasn’t in the mood as my son needed to eat. Lollipops isn’t what I paid for, let alone a meal. I get mistakes happen. But at the end I feel she was trying to avoid the situation of her mistake and just wanted us to leave. I wasn’t even upset until we opened the bag. Those lollipops just went into the garbage. The apple jucie alone is...
Read moreWent through drive thru around 1:50pm asking for 2 buddy combos and I asked if I could have apple juice or chocolate milk instead of pop and she said no it has to be a fountain drink, so I look at the fountain drink menu and I see lemonade listed with it so I asked if I could do lemonade and the worker said no it has to be coke or a fountain drink..I politely asked if I could even get a bottle of water as I do not drink pop or the ice tea they have and another rude worker came on over the other employee and raised her voice at me saying "mam, she said you can only have a fountain drink!". I was shocked I was being spoken too like this over a simple question! Even my young daughter asked why was she so rude to me?..I said to the employee im good and drove off because I don't trust someone with that kind of customer service to handle my food. It was a younger lady who initially took my order and then a rude older lady (by the sounds of it) came on over her. This was my first time going to this location in a long time and it will...
Read moreIt's a&w. Typically good, food was, initial service was.
We arrived at 950 and placed our order inside the restaurant .we were not told that they are closing soon and that we couldn't stay inside and eat. At 1002 the manager comes to us while we are 1/2 done our meal and tells us they were closed 2 minutes ago and we had to leave . I'd understand if a) they told us before ordering or giving us our food or b) they fully closed at 10. But no there drivthru is open till 11. What's the big deal if a dad and his 2 teenage kids sit and eat there food . 10 more minutes and we would have been done and gone . Glad to see a&w spends do much money on advertising to get us in the door but not treat us decently once...
