NEVER ORDER FROM HERE- THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS TERRIBLY

First of all I found out after this restaurant is under new management. Not surprised with the service I received. I paid $60 (including a very nice tip) for delivery.

Upon looking inside the bags I realized the sweet and sour pork was made incorrectly. It was pieces of cut up, deep fried pork WITHOUT sauce and the sauce on the side. What I asked was for an order of sweet and sour pork with EXTRA sauce. I also asked for a side order of black bean sauce, instead I got 2 orders of sweet and sour sauce.

I called the restaurant back and told the lady that it was wrong and please send another one. At first she argued with me and said I asked you twice what your order was. Well it took about 15 minutes to place my order because the lady was having a hard time taking my order, I should of known there was going to be a problem. Bottom line the order was incorrect- do not argue with the customer!!!

I said just send another one please or I’ll take my money back. She said no! she could not give me my money back. And I had two choices: to DRIVE to the restaurant to pick up a new one (because all of a sudden the delivery driver was really busy at 5pm on a Monday) and please note I gave the driver a $8.00 tip! Or I can get another one when I come in next time. NEXT TIME?!!! There will be NO next time lady…

This service is very upsetting because during Covid times everyone is struggling and I could have spent my $60 at a place that would have respected me as a customer. This is unacceptable, I will never support Chan’s Garden and I will be telling everyone about...

Absolutely Delicious! I highly recommend this place if you be in the area.

Wow! This is everything I love about Canadian style Chinese food: flavourful, satisfying, big portions, hot and fresh. Every dish tasted just right, from the crispy, juicy deep-fried chicken wings with garlic (with a hint of Chinese wine marinade) to the honey garlic spareribs, which had the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The deep-fried tofu was wonderfully soft and chewy, paired with a generous mix of stir-fried veggies like cauliflower, broccoli, zucchini, mushrooms, cabbage, carrots, and onions. The chow mein was loaded with chicken and veggies: everything good chow mein should be. Portions were generous, making it a great value ❤️

This spot serves some of the best Canadian-Chinese food in New Westminster and one of the best in all of BC. Lots of fresh vegetables, flavorful dishes, and great meat and vegetarian options (though not many choices for celiacs). The stir-fried garlic broccoli was perfectly cooked: not too oily and packed with flavor.

Located within walking distance of Royal Columbian Hospital and the SkyTrain, it’s a popular choice for hospital staff and visitors. Parking is limited, but it’s worth the trip. If you love classic, comforting Chinese takeout, this place is a must if you are...

completely lost my trust! This isn't the first time we've ordered from this restaurant and what we got was made wrong. Tonight we ordered crispy Ginger beef among other things and for one it's not beef but first and foremost it's not crispy it's clearly soft. Crispy Ginger beef is supposed to be dried. Other time we ordered mapu tofu and it was made with chicken. Didn't even taste like how was expecting it to be. We even gave a tip. We also ordered salt and pepper squid which is the slightest bit spicy and when I picked it up that it felt a bit light. That's why I'm giving it a one star. The food tastes good but the product is average. If you don't have beef be a professional and call the customer and say you don't have beef. We stopped ordering from this place for a reason I can't remember about 5 months ago we thought we give this place another chance and this is what I got. Completely lost my trust. They clearly don't care about their own business.

Other times we ordered somehow the company owner came into the building to our door. Don't know how! Many times these people have added on tip without telling us. That...

Wow! Everything tasted absolutely delicious! Super satisfying North American Chinese Takeout. In fact, this is one of the best stereotypical Chinese foods I have ever had. Imagine a cartoon where they order Chinese takeout and you imagine how perfect it could taste and look and this is exactly it! That’s the best way I can describe it. Each dish tasted exactly like how I imagined it should taste. The deep fried chicken wings with garlic were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with a hint of Chinese wine marinade which tasted fantastic. The deep fried tofu had the perfect soft chewy texture amongst lots of stir fried veggies including cauliflower, broccoli, zucchini, mushrooms, cabbage, carrots, and onions. The honey garlic spareribs were the perfect blend of sweet and savoury. The chow mein had lots of chicken and veggie bits and embodied everything chow mein should be. Totally hits the spot for North American Chinese food and would definitely order it again. The portions were generous too!

I've eaten here in the past and had OK experience, but nothing terrible until Today. I was super busy with work and didn't have time to cook and I was craving some Chinese food, so I ordered a "Special Combination E". It arrived pretty quick, quicker than I was expecting. The spare ribs were SO DRY, chewy, hard to swallow and the flavour just tasted like deep fried batter. The almond chicken was also VERY DRY and flavorless. There was more batter on these than chicken. The fried rice was also really DRY, however the flavour wasn't too bad until I started getting to the burnt pieces of pork. The way everything tasted seemed like it was reheated/recooked or sitting in a warmer for many hours. These are all items I've never ordered from here in the past and this may be luck of the draw for me since I've had OK experiences before, but there's no excuse serving food like this to paying customers.

When you’re craving North American style Canto cuisine, or if fried rice and noodles are your comfort food, and you’re in the “Royal City” of New West, then you should drop in to this Chinese restaurant for ginger beef (invented in Calgary), spring rolls, wonton noodles, and egg foo young. I ordered the pictured “Combo F” that contained 6 deep fried (heavily battered) prawns, a generous amount of tasty ginger beef and a large portion of bbq pork fried rice that had that “wok-hei” flame kissed taste. I heard a lot of Cantonese being yelled out in the back so even though the menu caters to the local North American tastes, the chef in the back is “legit.” The portion size was enormous for this Combo plate. This is much better than that mall-style food court Canadian-Chinese precooked food that gets scooped to order. This was made to order but had a very short and reasonable waiting time.
