Chopped Leaf — Restaurant in British Columbia

The staff are always wonderful, taste wise food is consistent, but staff need to practice making the salad rolls... If I'm paying for them to be made, please take the time to remake them or make them properly... if the paper breaks it defeats the purpose of ordering a salad roll. Please fix! The allergy information is incorrect and has been for the past 3 months. Staff don't have updated cards and have not updated the menu that is relevant to the product being served. For example"evil peanut sauce" the package shows different allergy information than both the cue cards and the menu. It makes it hard to order every time when there is no memo on the change for both consumer and staff... Get a new menu or edit cards or... Do a memo for all staff to be aware as well one for consumers... Especially if it is relevant to allergy information it could prevent consumer issues. Food is great staff are great. Atmosphere is wonderful, always clean seats, clean washroom and staff have wonderful rapport as well let consumers know that it might be a few minutes to make an item. Very courteous very honest, this rapport is consistently excellent with every staff member I have...

I've been to this place before I moved to the US about 3 years ago and now returned to it during our vacation in Canada. My favorite used to be the Design Your Own wrap option and I went with it. It did not disappoint. I got a wrap with chicken and avocado, romaine, kalamata olives, croutons, mushrooms, onions, and Caesar dressing. It was phenomenal!!! I don't have a picture because I took it for to go and shared it with my husband in a gym, but damn was it good! All ingredients were really fresh and flavorful, avocado was nice and ripen, the wrap had good amount of sauce, but did not leak at all, it all stayed inside the shell! Also, croutons remained mostly crunchy even after a couple of hours of being in a bag before we ate the wrap. The flavor was amazing!

Like I said, this location has been my favorite for a long time and I'm happy the quality of food did not suffer after pandemic. Really happy that the place survived. Will definitely be going back when we visit again. Those wraps are really good and they have a long ingredient list that allows to mix and match. Really...

Always liked this place at SFU campus and decided to get a take out at this location. Ordered my standard bowl no.1 with prawns as extra protein. When we arrived home and started unpacking the food, turned out they forgot to put prawns. I called immediately and they admitted that they forgot it, apologized, and told me that next time I come, I can get free prawns, then stuttered and promised a full free bowl instead. They wrote down my full name with phone number. I came there couple of weeks later, explained the situation, they found my info in the notebook and told that I can only get free prawns since the bowl itself was normal. I tried to argue a bit cause I was promised a free bowl, and I just received the same reply that the bowl was okay, so I can only get free protein. I guess I should’ve expected this, but nevertheless, the situation made me feel a little ripped off, so I just decided not to get anything there…
