I have frequented this KFC many times during COVID-19. Every one of my experiences, minus 1, has been great.
The one that wasn't so great was a mixup in my order request I made on the app for pickup. Specifically, the special instructions I added weren't followed, when on past orders they have been. I asked for mashed potatoes as my 2 large sides instead of the salads. For some reason their website, app and drive through menu don't list mashed potatoes as an option, even though they have them. Also, I upgraded my 2 fries to mega individual for an additional $1 total. I also asked for thigh only dark meat for the chicken. These 3 requests weren't met. I didn't check everything until I got home because the drive through was busy and it would have been a hassle opening all those containers in my car.
I provided feedback through the app. The next day I got a call from the store manager. She apologized and offered me 6 pieces of chicken, 2 large mashed potatoes and 1 large gravy as a resolution and acceptance of responsibility. I honestly wasn't expecting I would ever hear back at all. For this generous offer and the apology, which I accepted graciously, I give HUGE props to this store and manager for correcting and maintaining a positive customer relationship.
Then today I get a letter from KFC corporate apologizing and including a $10 coupon toward any purchase. Again, I didn't ask for our expect this! Well done again!
Also, at the drive through the workers wear masks, use hand sanitizer frequently and will substitute drinks for gravy without hassle of charge.
The food is enjoyable; the chicken tastes fresh, moist and has that yummy 11 herbs and spices goodness! It's why I keep coming back to KFC. I'll keep coming back to this KFC because of the impeccable customer service!
PS - there are really good coupons on their website that are customizable.

Read moreI went to the store 40mins ago for 6pcs dark meat chicken thigh, no legs. The lady “Siger” (Sorry if it’s not the right spelling) told me it has to be thigh and legs for dark meat..She can’t do all thigh. I insist to have all thigh coz I don’t like leg. Then she said: Ok I can do thigh, all thigh! I saw the screen it says 6pcs thigh. (I was ready to leave the store if I can’t have all dark meat thigh, but then I saw that its 6pcs thigh) I asked her is that dark meat? She said: Yes! Before paying I asked Siger again if its spicy? She said yes!
While walking from KFC (6th and 6th ave), at the Edinburgh street corner 10th street I started to eat 1pc of chicken buttt It’s not spicy at all.. So I walked all the way to my house (21st street ) thinking maybe its just one original,only to find out that all chicken is not spicy!
When I got home, I phoned right away and luckily the lady who answered is Siger. She told me she’ll put my name and number in their complain and told me that when I come back to there store she’ll give me dark meat 3pcs. The problem is I don’t have the receipt and Siger told me that she always handed receipt! I told her you gave receipt to the lady before me coz you’re asking her to do survey while waiting.. So I know I didn’t get any receipt as I was never asked to do survey. Beside there’s one more way to prove I was there, pay my order and didn’t get receipt.
Anyway, Siger was very nice while I was talking to her on the phone.
I’m just dissapointed to not have dark meat as I don’t order all the time in KFC after I had a bad delivery experience in the same location in late evening before so I tried walk in.

Rude staff! I ordered "fresh chicken" which means they should make it fresh and while picking the order I was confirmed it was made fresh but still they gave me previously cooked, soggy, cold, dry chicken. So I went back through drive through and now the staff brought their shift manager JASLEEN who was just rude and reluctant to take back the chicken. She told me "fresh chicken" would take 45-50 minutes as they had an existing batch lying. I wanted fresh not soggy cold dry chicken, that's it! What a response from a Manager! Well Done, KFC! on training such superstars! No greetings, no patience, no politeness! We don't want KFC to disrespect customers through its rude staff!!!!
She was highly rude, arrogant and advising taking the chicken batch they had cooked or wait for 45-50 minutes. I told her that a month ago I was given freshly cooked from the same location in 10-12 minutes but she started arguing and shouting.
Whoever is the Franchisee of this location. s/he should step up and KFC management should send mystery shoppers at evening/night time and through drive-through to check what customers have been going through.
Those taking order through drive-through do not know what they should tell the customer, manager does not know how to talk, food is soggy and cold.
Anyways, KFC lost a customer and I am sure many more if customers receive similar service and experience from this location.
Do not waste your time and money on this location unless you want soggy dry chicken with experience of worst...
