Hate this place with a passion! My wife and I chose to go here on a Thursday night and when we walked in we stood in the entrance for at least 3 minutes waiting for someone (host/ess) to seat us but they were too busy chatting it up with other staff. So finally a girl greets us but more pissed that we made her have to leave her conversation. So we get seated and we are waiting about 5 mins and I hear my name and it happens to be a friend of mine and he happens to work there. So I chat with him about 10 mins and still no one has even come to see us so no water and no complimentary chips and salsa... Nothing at all! So I ask my friend what's going on and he says he will take care of it... He comes back with a waiter after 5 mins and tells the waiter I'm a friend and to take good care of my wife and me and my friend heads in the back and I guess starts his shift. The waiter says would u like something to drink and I said we don't even have a drink menu so he says oh I'm sorry I'll go get it. He comes back about 10 mins later and doesn't even apologize for the time and gives us a drinks menu and walks away. So we choose our drinks and we see that people are being seated around us and getting water, salsa, chips and there booze and now my blood pressure is rising. I ask a waitress Can u please get us a pina colada and a corona please because we can't find our waiter anymore and we have been here for almost 40 minutes. She tells me u have been assigned someone so I can't serve u and walks away. I'm about to ask for a manager and our waiter shows up and asks us if we have made our choice for drinks and so I order with him. So now we think things are going in the right direction but surprise surprise 15 minutes of waiting for our drinks I told my wife before I flip my lid we need to get out of here and so we got up and walked out the restaurant and went to Baton Rouge. That was the worst experience we have ever had. Thank you and...
Read moreThis is a Mexican restaurant with an amazing vibe and an incredible atmosphere. The food here is simply outstanding, and no words can truly do it justice. At this branch, the staff is extremely warm and welcoming. Our server, Jeff, was exceptionally friendly, cheerful, and hospitable. He went above and beyond to provide us with the best possible experience. Whatever we needed, he made sure to deliver even better. He was patient, offered great suggestions, and treated us with such kindness that it made our evening truly memorable. The steak was absolutely delicious, and I am certain I will be coming back here time and time again.
I need to add Jeff is without a doubt an exceptional host. The way he serves food is unlike any other server we’ve encountered—he’s incredibly professional, intelligent, kind, charismatic, and genuinely friendly. Every time we’ve had a host other than Jeff, unfortunately, the experience hasn’t quite met our expectations in terms of service. But whenever Jeff has been our host, everything has been perfect.
He always remembers what we order—even from our second visit, he recalled exactly what we had the first time and asked if we’d like the same again. We were truly impressed.
I even celebrated my birthday at this restaurant, and sadly, the host that night made several mistakes with the orders, which was embarrassing for me since I had invited friends. That experience made me appreciate Jeff’s attention to detail and professionalism even more.
From the bottom of my heart, I wish all hosts were as good as Jeff—or at least paid as much attention as he does. I can confidently say Jeff is the best host in Montreal. He made this branch of 3 Amigos extremely far better than the others and absolutely , the kind and professional management team, along with the rest of the...
Read moreUpon arrival at 3 Amigos Brossard, our initial impressions were fine. The ambiance was welcoming, and we were promptly seated. However, our experience quickly took a disappointing turn.
Upon looking at the menus, we noticed that the kids’ menu suggested asking for crayons for the children to color with. When we inquired about this, our waitress informed us that they did not have any crayons or activities for children at that location. This was a letdown, especially given that it was advertised on the menu.
Next, we ordered the kids’ pasta, which was described on the menu as pasta with butter, chicken, and Parmesan. When the dish arrived, it was missing the cheese. We brought this to the waitress’s attention on her next visit to our table. She informed us that, contrary to what was stated on the menu, the cheese had to be specifically requested. This inconsistency was frustrating, as there were no explanations or indications that the menu had any alterations.
After waiting for some time without a return visit from the waitress, I decided to address the issue myself. When I approached the manager, he immediately adopted a defensive stance. He informed me that this was just the way they did things at this location. My issue was that the pasta was now cold and still without cheese. For kids, cheese is important. I expressed my dissatisfaction and asked him what he would think if he were in my position.
Unfortunately, he brushed us off and never returned.
Overall, our experience was disappointing due to the lack of clarity on the menu and the unhelpful response from the staff. I hope the management can address these issues for the sake of...
