Cora déjeuners Greenfield park — Restaurant in Longueuil

I went to Cora's many times either here or at other branches and ordered the burrito crepe dish a few times. Today, I ordered that dish and felt like I was eating an onion burrito. I did ask if it was normal when I started eating it to the server and the answer I got is "I don't know, it's the kitchen". Towards the end of our meal, she came by and asked if everything was fine even with the comment I made at the beginning. Well obviously it isn't with all the onions I removed from the burrito (sadly I didn't think to take a picture). That's the time she went to bring the plate to the manager and the answer I got back is: "it's random, the cooks put some of this and that. Today you were the unlucky one that had more". It doesn't make sense that they don't look at how much ingredients they put or have a standard within the chain. If I wanted to eat an onion burrito, I would have asked for extra onions. No action was taken from the server or manager to correct the situation. Looks like they flipped a coin and today you're the unlucky one to have a "bad" plate. it took forever to get our food and when it arrived, it was room temperature. The butter on the toasts didn't even melt. I was a bit uncomfortable to ask the waitress to take it back to the kitchen but I did. When the food came back it was obvious that they had just brought me back the same eggs that they continued cooking. The yolks where cooked all the way through and not easy over like I ordered. The pancakes my wife and I ordered tasted like they were made ahead of time and warmed up. Nothing tasted fresh. It tasted like hospital cafeteria food. We had to ask for sugar with our coffe, the waitress didn't bring any and we never got coffee refills. After finishing our meal, it took forever for the waitress to come see us. She never did. We asked another employee if we could get the check but we were told that our waitress was too busy to come see us. We ended up paying with another waitress. No joke, we saw some plates staying on the kitchen window for up to 7 minutes. What they serve a that restaurant is no where worth the price that they are charging us....

Ordered through Uber Eats. Came in a personalized bag, which is a nice presentation touch, although inside was a generic aluminum container with a random "48" number. Probably something internal.

I ordered the breakfast poutine. I'm used to order this at "Pur & Simple", but decided to try Cora this time. I wasn't disappointed. Although I still think the one from "Pur & Simple" is a bit better, this one isn't far behind. Would order again!!

EDIT: Reducing raring all the way from 5 stars to 2 stars! I ordered again today because they had a 2 for 1 sale on the poutine breakfast and I wish I didn't. First of all, it wasn't as good as the last time and when compared to the same dish from pur & simple, I'd say it's far behind now. Also the quantity seemed off. It seems to be one of those places where they take slightly more than 1, divide between containers and present it as 2 for the price of 1. This, added to the fact that it just wasn't as good = I don't think I will ever...
