Harvey's — Restaurant in Brossard

Visited this location March 28, 2024 around 8 ish PM...and I truly regret dining there. I have yet interacted with such rude staff.

As we entered, we noticed how crowded it was on one side of the store. Its slightly unappealing but we dont think much of it. We wait in line, order and ask to dine in. Noticing an entire seating section that is blocked and empty hence why everyone was forced into the small area. The cashier informs us that they closed out the entire section since its near closing time. ITS NOT EVEN NEAR 9PM AND THEY CLOSE AT 10PM I have a toddler that barely holds himself, I'm 8 months pregnant and they expect me to sit on a high table. Not only is it a hassle but a hazzard. I understand hiring a younger crowd to serve but common sense is crucial when offering customer service.

So i speak up and arrange to sit at the 1st table from the closed section. A young man comes to my family and states we have 10mins to eat. So I replied I won't choke on my food for your convenience, which he followed by mumbles.

Truly a low class service, with some low class employees. We met a family that was also rushed and we talked outside for a few minutes... we are not the only one to share this experience nor opinion.

Highly encourage a district manager to look up cameras of that evening. I personally will never step foot there again and my money will be well spent...

actually, I'm not giving any stars... very bad service it was 8 pm when we walked in and there were only 4 tables available in the front and they put a sign and closed a bigger area in the restaurant where at least 20 tables where available that customers could come and seat. all of a sudden, there was alors of customers at cleast 5-6 familly with their kidswho walked in, they ordered and wanted to eat in the store but there was no place to seat and they wouldn't even wanted to open the other section of the restaurant for the customers. there was even a customer with a baby who when to Seat in the "closed section" in the corner and some employee whent to ask the customer to eat fast cause they were going to close the section in 5 mins and they made them to leave the restaurant. they store closing hours was at 10 and they make you feel uncomfortable and not welcome by closing a big area of the restaurant with lot's who just walked in.... I won't go anymore to that store anymore, and I won't recommend anyone to go there... if you wanna feel not welcome in a restaurant... you can...

This place used to be nice with competent workers but they had a recent change of staff and it’s honestly aweful. I usually always order drive through and pay cash and the last 2 times I’ve been has been a real headache. I just ordered a crispy chicken combo with a poutine, extra fries and a sauce. The lady got the WHOLE order wrong. She forgot my fries and when I told her she made a mistake, she gave me some money back. I didn’t understand at first and then I looked at the receipt and she had told me a price and the receipt said another price that was way cheaper. I think they are ripping people off because the same thing happened last time with the same lady. She told me a different price than the actual price… She had an attitude during the whole time I was dealing with her. Real nightmare. They are literally scamming people. The lady doesn’t say the price at the intercom and when she sees you pay cash, she gives you a random higher price and I guess keeps...
