The food at Kimpo is nothing short of spectacular. Their all-you-can-eat BBQ menu offers an incredible variety of meats, from perfectly marinated beef short ribs to melt-in-your-mouth pork belly and spicy chicken. Every cut is fresh, flavorful, and grills beautifully at your table. They also have a great selection of seafood options, including shrimp and squid, which are equally amazing.

Sushi was fantastic, but the service unfortunately was deplorable and ruined the experience. We had no idea it was all you can eat, everything was explained in french when we arrived, but not once did i hear all you can eat. We asked manager to reexplain in english, because we did not understand his instructions beyond scan bar code. In english he said scan the bar code, write items on paper that was it. Go to leave they try to charge us $152 for 2 adults and 1 five yr old, who didn't eat anything other than two bites of ice cream (which we shared 1 ball of ice cream btw 3 people). All we ordered was 39 pieces of sushi (which was the cheaper quality, some homosaki, 1 nigri, 1 dragon and 1 rainbow and 1 tempura sushi). No one asked us if we wanted to order more and when we ordered the desert and said we will share, the waiter did not say its all you can eat, are you sure you don't want 1 each.
At no point did a waiter say its all you can eat to us. I refused to pay the full amount, because had we known, we would have ordered the Korean bbq and more dessert. The manager fixed the bill according to their take out prices, charged the 15% tip (so tip before taxes, so you're taxed on the tip) then had the audacity to ask for more tip. DO NOT ASK FOR A TIP! Never do this, he should be fired for that. Our bill in the end was $72 with the mandatory tip and tax. I will never go back based on this service, it's a...

Kimpo gets a 2 star rating from me for the following reasons.. *edited to 1 star after further thought
To begin, the food tasted great. Both the food cooked at the table as well as the food prepared in the kitchen.
Unfortunately the service ruined my first experience at this restaurant.
After ordering our first round of food (consisted of a few slices of thinly cut beef, 4 bites of general tao, 1 piece of fried chicken and a few fried dumplings for 2 of us), we put in our second order via these little paper slips they give you. After 30 minutes of waiting for something- anything to show up at the table, a waiter asked us if we were waiting for something. Told him we ordered 30 minutes ago and so he went to check on our order. Comes back and tells us there are no orders left in the kitchen and promptly gets us to fill another paper to put another order in.
After waiting 30 minutes, we werent as hungry so we requested a fraction of the original missing order.
I kid you not, another 30 minutes go by and we have zero food coming to the table.
Same waiter comes back to tell us that the kitchen has ran out of everything we ordered....
At this point, its 8:45.. kitchen closes at 9 and so we ordered a ball of ice cream and got the hell out of there.
Go to pay at the front, cashier tells me tips already included in the bill but they would appreciate additional tip... the only tip for them that i had was to pay attention to the customer... basics
Will not...
