Sabor Latino - Cuisine — Restaurant in Brossard

I was excited to try this South American restaurant. They had a lot of customers and I was sure the food was going to be good. The person behind the counter was very patient and kind and provided explanations of every dish. He was especially pushing for the ribs. Apparently some customers even say that they are better than B Rouge. I took his suggestion but I was very disappointed. The ribs must have been boiled for a long time because it's extremely soft and dry. They put some sauce on it and then into the oven so it's a bit caramelised. It is overcooked to the point where the bones are soft. The beef dish was the same. Overcooked and dry. I do not enjoy this kind of cooking. But since they are very busy, I guess my taste is different from the ones of their clientele. On top of that, two dishes with two drinks came up to about $53 for food court style...

I was so excited when I saw they opened this new location but I’m not so excited anymore. The food is quite expensive for what u get a empanada at 3.75$ is crazy a cheese stick for 2$ and a simple plate with rice and beef and ribs that were 70% just fat and some plantain for 25$ . Je suis allé pour la première fois hier, j’ai regrette ma décision, pour commencer pas bcp des choix , pour manger des riz blanc a me casser les dents, avec des haricots noir et 3 morceaux des plantains et poulet effiloché j’ai le regret vraiment, j’étais avec mon fils qui voulait manger de la pupusas 9.99 les service de 2 pupusas, pas croyable le prix, mais ils n’avaient pas, alors il a commande la meme chose que moi avec un extra de Yuca frit, vous n’allez pas le croire, 3 petit morceaux 9.99plus taxes, c’est quoi cette place?.., d’ou vous sortez vos prix, en plus vous voulez des tips , mais non jamais je retournerai manger chez vous, on mange mieux chez McDonalds, en tout cas les frites sont plus fraîche et la portions plus généreuse, très mauvais je ne le recommande à personne.
