Restaurant La Belle Province — Restaurant in Brossard

Used to be my go-to for quick drive thru. Last time I went to the drive-thru. I ordered the regular hot dogs with poutine, sauce on the side. The old lady cashier repeated hot dogs with poutine, I specified "sauce on the side please" again. Roll up to the window and I hear the cook confirming the order as he hands it to her "hot dogs, poutine with sauce on the side". I went to to tap the machine to pay, lady asks me to confirm my choice, trying to force me to tip. I select no tip, as usual, because I drove there myself and it's a drive thru. She looked at the machine, was annoyed I didn't tip and disappeared in the back for a minute with my order, then handed me my order without saying anything, no goodbye or thanks. Whatever, no big deal. Got home, sauce was not on the side and hot dogs were half empty. She went out of her way to ruin my order because I didn't tip...at a drive-thru that I drove to. Too bad tipping culture is ruining drive-thru spots, especially for a local business trying to compete with McDonalds. I will never go back there again so they lost a regular customer because of this. PS: the other young cashier is lovely and always gives great service. Just pray that she is the one working if...

I was excited at the prospect of using their drive through but I wasn't getting spoken to at all. I had to abandon waiting there and go around the building again to realize the black sign announcing they had a drive through service had another very thin black sign on top of it barely visible saying "coming soon".

Please do not make the sign negating the service you clearly advertise as a selling point INVISIBLE!! I could of waited quite a long time and no one was taking the time to tell me on the microphone the service was not available.

As for the food, the portion is smaller then what I am used to from the belle province near my house. At first I though I got a size small instead of a regular but the invoice said regular. So I am assuming I was given the right order since no one else was in line thus making the mistake hard.

It tasted average and usually I am easy going when it comes to my food reviews. I have eaten better poutines at other belle provinces. I am guessing they are still opening up since all their services aren't up and running so I will try them again in the future and adjust my...

Okay sure this was my first time going but they charge like almost 12 bucks for a burger box sized poutine... the fries were soggy and the gravy was too mushy... I'm not saying it was 100% horrible I'm just saying that I've had bad fries and gravy but the cost bothered me way more than the actual taste... even if you jam pack the box is still a very tiny box for the amount you pay... for that much I could get a large fry elsewhere... I'm sorry but I wouldn't go again... It's expensive and quiet honestly I want a big fan of the customer service... The lady who was at the drive through was low key rude and, I get it, it was probably a long day for her but still, even when I'm tired I try to keep a positive mindset. Maybe the rest of their menu is better priced but honestly a the poutine price to quantity ratio is ridiculous...
