A&W Canada — Restaurant in Brossard

First of all i would like to say that A&W is one of our favourite fast food places to go. This being said we have been to many other A&W restaurants and have been become accustomed to certain things such as not being charged 60 cents for their spicy mayonnaise. Out of a dozen restaurants, this is the only one that charges for it. When we were told that we declined the spicy mayonnaise. Now here is the biggest issue we had. We order take out. We used a coupon for two mozza burgers with poutines trio. We asked to change one poutine to an onion ring. They messed that up and gave us two fries. We pointed that out and they corrected it. Next we ordered a mama and papa burger trio. They messed that up as well. But unlike the previous order we didn't catch that error and only noticed it when we got home and sorted out our meals. Yes you guessed it, we were short a french fry. We ate our meal short a fries as we were starving. Now i called the restaurant after our meal. Explained what happened. The lady said to me sorry about that come back and we will give you a French fry. I said to here we already ate and i would like a refund for the missing fry. Again she repeated just come back and we will give you another fry. I calmly said again but in French that we completely finished our food and we would like a refund for the missing fry. Only then she understood. Now logically we were charged for a fry. To go there and back home would cost me more in fuel to get said refund as explained by my wife. So in the end we never went. Lesson learned. Check your take out order. As improbable as it may seem some people will make the mistake of forgetting that each trio...

Pathetic service, they don’t give the order that was payed for. Details: I had ordered 5 poulet burgers (8$ each) and they gave only 4, realized after going home and didn’t had energy to drive back for another 20 mins to let them know.

Went another day and explained issue, they offered to one burger for no cost (which was payed previously)

To my surprise when I went back home, this time again they missed a veggie burger, got frustrated but went back immediately and told them.

They apologized and offered me to give burger, also asked if i need any additional burger or fries for free, which I refused, all I wanted was the food that I ordered and payed for it.

Worst part: again after driving multiple time (each time for 20 mins) , they had given me a buddy meat burger instead of Veggie burger I ordered … I had finally give up…

How worst this can be ?

I hope they understand a genuine customer voice and make appropriate corrections

P.S: Food is good, but seriously lack of...

Loved the new Beyond Meat burger! I couldn't tell that it was not meat. Very very tasty and fresh. Fries were great too :) I am also very surprised and pleased by their clear efforts to lower their and our environmental footprint. (For breakfast, I hear that they serve on china with real cutlery, and they do have wire baskets with paper inserts for fries, but nonetheless I asked that my food be served in my own Tupperware and they didn't bat an eye.) They have glass mugs and the coffee is fair trade, although I was only able to put milk in my coffee by buying a small carton of milk because I wont use the plastic creamers that they provide anymore. I would like to see the return of the milk jug. I did notice that they have a bulk ketchup dispenser and bottles of vinegar and hot sauce on offer. Afterwards, there was a compost bin for any food waste or paper products, so I was able to eat a meal that produced zero waste at my end! I will go...
