During the three years I had a business beside a sushi shop on Sherbrooke West, I had excellent service. They were always stocked and working hard with smiles on their faces whether prompt to speak English or French. The owner did so well that he had brought his team to the new MUHC hospital for more business.
This sushi shop in Brossard I had gave COUNTLESS chances. Every time I order a poke bowl there's always a mistake. Born and raised in Montreal I speak French fluently. So it's not due to miscommunication. Last night was the last straw. I order salmon and tuna poke bowl, asked for brown rice and extra avocado with mango. I am the only one in the restaurant. I receive the bowl. Get in my car and half way home notice it's chicken and no mango.
Another time, go in my car notice there's no mango. I go back. Another time notice it's white rice instead of brown and just tuna no salmon. I continue going home. I order the same poke bowl since I have moved to brossard. It's never been right, I always a have to check it before I leave. There's never any variety already stocked and I've passed for different times since it's on my way home.

I ordered on their site a pick-up order (One iâve done MANY TIMES) to be called 20 minutes after and tell me they canât do a dragon eye without salmon?!? Iâve always asked without it and its never been an issue. I even had PROOF of old order receipts that theyâve done it and they refuse to do it. I ask for a reimbursement they tell me they canât and that the owner will be in contact with me. So now I have no food and missing 40$!! I asked for the owners email or name at least to make SURE I received my money back and they refuse to give me that info as well!    Read moreI regularly go to Sushi Shop locations and have never experienced anything like this. I simply asked for a bit more sauce, and they flat-out refused â telling me I âalready had enoughâ and that Iâd have to pay extra if I wanted more. Super rude and unprofessional. Since when is it a problem for a customer to ask for a bit more sauce?
On top of that, the bowl was half empty. As you can see in the photo: barely any rice, literally 2 tiny slices of avocado, a handful of lettuce, and a small portion of salmon. And of course â theyâve raised their prices while cutting back on quantity.
Honestly, just go to another location where the service is polite and the portions are fair. This one is...
