If you're on the hunt for authentic Indian street food, look no further than 4 Season Chaat House. Nestled in a vibrant corner of the city, this gem of a restaurant offers a delightful array of chaat that transports you straight to the bustling streets of India. **Ambience:** The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is colorful and vibrant, reflecting the rich culture of India. The seating is comfortable, and the place is immaculately clean, which enhances the overall dining experience. **Service:** The staff at 4 Season Chaat House are exceptionally friendly and attentive. They are well-versed in the menu and are more than willing to make recommendations based on your preferences. The service is prompt, and the food is served fresh and hot. **Food:** The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the dahi puri. Each puri was perfectly crisp, filled with a delicious blend of spiced potatoes and topped with creamy, tangy yogurt, tamarind chutney, and a sprinkle of sev. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness, tanginess, and spice. It's a must-try for anyone visiting the chaat house. Apart from the dahi puri, the menu boasts a wide variety of chaat items, all of which are prepared with authentic ingredients and traditional recipes. The pani puri, bhel puri, and pav bhaji are equally noteworthy. The spices are just right, and every bite is a burst of flavor. **Value for Money:** The prices at 4 Season Chaat House are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and authenticity of the food. Portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you leave satisfied. **Overall:** 4 Season Chaat House is a haven for chaat lovers. Whether you're craving dahi puri, pani puri, or any other chaat, this place delivers on all fronts. The combination of excellent food, friendly service, and a vibrant atmosphere makes it a standout spot for Indian street food in the city. Highly recommended!

No amount of stars can communication just how good both the food and service at 4 Seasons Chaat House are. It is the type of place that you come in hoping is a 5/5 yet still leave blown away. I came with my partner, visiting from Miami, and we were really unsure where to eat at first. But we were drawn here by the pictures and reviews. Honestly even with the great reviews, this was beyond any expectations we could have had and became an instant favorite. The food is absolutely delicious! The service, however, is also unparalleled. The family and team make the food and treat you with such love and care that it makes for a truly memorable experience. Without a doubt, another reason to look forward to visiting the city again in the future! Absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Vancouver--it's worth the drive Some of the dishes we tried (recommend any/all of them!): Butter Chicken Paneer Butter Masala (vegetarian) Dahi Puri Garlic naan Desserts- Ras Malai Gulab Jamun

This is one of my absolute favorite spots, especially for their incredible samosa chaats! They nail it every time – consistent and incredibly delicious. Even though I promise myself to try something new, I always end up ordering samosa chat, without fail! Their butter chicken is heavenly, and the garlic bread is out of this world. I can't get enough of it! One thing I'd suggest is to slightly increase the size of the complementary rice option, but not too much. Since the ownership change or renovation, the service and quality have soared. It's clear they've put a lot of effort into improving every aspect of the experience. My only other suggestion would be to add pictures or descriptions to the menu, so customers like me don't end up ordering samosa chaat every time, although let's be real, I might not be able to resist 😁 Overall, if you're in the mood for delicious Indian food served with consistency and excellent service, the Chaat House is the place to go!

(You lose a star on Chai…. Sigh)

Dropped by Chaat House in New West and tried a bit of everything, from street snacks to curries to drinks. Here’s the full rundown:

Gol Gappey (6 pieces) Yummy, crispy, tangy, refreshing. Exactly what you want when your taste buds need a wake-up slap.

Lamb Vindaloo (medium spicy) Delivers a solid kick without knocking you out. Comes with a fair portion of lamb. Say… maybe 5 to 10 chunks of tender and well-cooked proteins. The rice it comes with is decent.

Aloo Parantha Soft, warm, and mildly seasoned. Not life-changing, but comforting like a Bollywood rom-com.

Garlic Naan Okay… this caught me off guard. It is garlic naan but the garlic is so quiet... If you like your naan shy and subtle, this is for you. If you want it to scare off vampires, this is not the one.

Masala Chai (WHY?!) I came in expecting a comforting masala hug in a cup. What I got was water-flavoured tea in disguise of masala. It was so watered down that even supermarket instant chai has more personality. I usually drink my chai without sugar so I can enjoy the aroma, you know, the ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, fennel, black pepper, etc. But this one had no scent and zero staying power. The flavour disappeared faster than my ex-gf. Big no. Skip the chai.

Notable mention: the homemade hot sauce This stuff deserves its own paragraph. It is not for the weak. This sauce walks in sweet and friendly like your mom’s friend at temple, then roundhouse kicks your tongue like it has unresolved anger issues. It is fiery, punchy, and super delicious. If your spice tolerance is average, approach with respect and maybe a glass...

I visited this restaurant with a group of friends, looking forward to a good time and a relaxing meal. Unfortunately, our experience was far from comfortable due to the behavior of one of the staff members.

The waitress serving us—a young Indian woman wearing glasses—was overly intrusive and made the whole dining experience feel rushed and pressured. While we were still trying to decide on our order, she came to our table three times within 15 minutes, interrupting our conversation and pushing us to order quickly.

After we finally placed our order, she kept hovering around, checking in the moment we took a sip or a bite. For example, as soon as I tasted my shake, she immediately returned to ask how it was—before I even had a chance to react. This happened repeatedly with every item, leaving us no space to enjoy our food or talk freely.

What made the experience worse was her insistence on getting a review before we received the bill. After we paid, she returned yet again to ask if we had submitted it, saying “most people forget once they step out.” It felt forceful and uncomfortable—definitely not how guests should be treated.

To add to this, we noticed her speaking quite harshly to a newly hired Indian girl who appeared to be in training. The way she addressed her was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. No one—whether customer or staff—should be subjected to such behavior.

We came to enjoy a peaceful time with friends, not to feel pressured or intimidated. I sincerely hope the management takes this seriously and works on creating a more respectful, welcoming environment...
