First thing first, note that this is a takeout only spot working out of the old Golphi’s restaurant on the corner of 12th & 5th. Orders are made by phone or messaging your order through WhatsApp. We put our order in through WhatsApp and it was responded to quickly and politely.

Logistics out of the way - absolutely delicious little hidden gem. We got the quesabirria & carnitas tacos for our first taste. The carnitas were a tad bland on their own, but a bit of zhuzhing with the included salsas, onion, and lime took care of that. The quesabirria was excellent. So tender and flavourful. I think next time we’ll splurge for the 1L portion!

Don’t sleep on the hibiscus drink (agua de Jamaica) either. It was the perfect refreshment to have alongside our meal and will be a staple...

I ordered the tacos and pozole for dinner and it was incredible. The tacos come with 2 tortillas and fully loaded with meat, 2 types of salsa, and grilled onions. Their barbacoa is a must try.

Overall, top tier and authentic tacos that are some of the best in Vancouver and rival the ones I've had in Mexico.
