Took a risk to come and try the new triple pickle poutine. I absolutely HATE this location. But thankfully the poutine saved our visit. I also got a strawberry milkshake but it was served unmixed (flavouring was at the bottom and I mixed it to Color myself (would of taken 30 seconds to continue to run it under the mixer to get right consistency) also the paper straws are too thin to be serving the milkshakes in and would be best to have a spoon or sip it or imvest in bigger straws
#1 trying to get in and out of this place is an absolute nightmare. If u need to turn left out of this place good luck u will be sitting for a good 5-10mins. And turning right u would think would be simply enough but nope they have the turning lane start just after the exit and people fly down Fairview
#2 it’s combined with Swiss chalet and the in store orders and online delivery are all in this small little area and the rest of the restaurant is tables but this is mainly a take out location. Common sense would be to expand the front desk and take away all the unnecessary seating. Have a separate spot for Swiss chalet and Harvey’s then another for online delivery services and another area smaller area for seating.
#3 the customer service is absolutely awful at this location. They used to have one on appleby in the fortinos plaza and was such a small location but at least they were organized and cheerful staff. The person serving us today was the most unpleasant worker no smile, looked like she really hated her job most monotone voice ever with no customer service skills (have a nice day, thank you goes along way)
Honestly will avoid this location at all cost and based by the other recent reviews it seems to keep going downhill. I hope they could open up in the mall or another location because I love Harvey but this is the main location in our area and it’s just not worth the stress of getting in here or waiting in line
*edit it’s been a month now since I had to reach out to customer service and not a word since
*jan 9 no response back from customer service email. Totally a scam that they say message to look into the incident, at this point u are just looking to cover up the review with a fake...
Read moreThe woman that served me tonight was one of the best staff members I have encountered at this Harvey's location. She went above and beyond at the end of her shift to give me the best possible experience and I truly hope she is recognized for her efforts. On a cold, rainy night and the day before good Friday, in spite of her restaurant's obstacles and barriers, she went out of her way to in sure my food order was correct and to my satisfaction, that customers were being served in a timely and professional fashion, that the dinner room was continuing to be kept to proper standards and when there was problems or concerns, she addressed them with kind heartness and solutions that left me having to write this. Burlington restaurants in general as of late have been slipping in my opinion as of late and it has been discouraging walking into any place not knowing if you will get your order right or what to expect. It's truly wonderful and refreshing to see that there are still some people in the food industry here that still show that no matter what profession or job your in, taking pride your work and treating others with kindness, respect and compassion makes a world of difference. I never did get the woman's name, but I attached my receipt to this post just in case someone might be able to figure it out and give this woman the proper credit she deserves. Good on you Harvey's for such an...
Read moreNestled on Fairview Street in Burlington, The Harvey's at 2422 offers a fast food haven for flame-grilled burger enthusiasts. The tantalizing scent of 100% Canadian beef wafts through the air as you customize your burger to your heart's content. From 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, this burger haven beckons seven days a week.
The service shines as the crown jewel of this establishment. With a dedication to accuracy, the staff seems to ensure that orders are impeccably reviewed and flawlessly executed. However, amidst the symphony of culinary triumphs, a minor discord emerges with the chicken offerings. Friends report of dry and tasteless chicken stand as a modest blemish on an otherwise stellar repertoire. Of course, I could never eat chicken when I go to Harvey's.
While some might find their palate yearning for more from the poultry, the fries more than compensate. A generous serving of thick-cut fries delights those who appreciate the heartiness of a substantial fried spud. As the sun sets over Fairview Street, This Harvey's remains a beacon for flame broiled burger aficionados, a testament to savory success and a testament to...
