I recently ordered an XL 16-inch pizza from Papa John's in Burlington, but I was quite disappointed with what I received. When the pizza arrived, it looked a bit smaller than I expected, so I decided to measure it. To my surprise, it was only 14 inches, which is the size of a large pizza. As a regular customer, I expect to get what I pay for, especially when it comes to something as basic as the size of the pizza.
The quality of the pizza itself was good. The crust was perfectly baked, and the toppings were generous and fresh, which is what I've come to expect from Papa John's. However, the size discrepancy really overshadowed the overall experience. I had ordered the larger size because I was hosting a small gathering, and the smaller pizza meant I had to make alternative arrangements at the last minute, which was inconvenient and frustrating.
I've attached a picture of the pizza along with my order information to this review. I hope this can help the team at Papa John's understand the issue better. It's important for businesses to deliver on their promises, and accurate representation of product sizes is a key part of customer satisfaction.
I hope this issue can be addressed promptly, as I enjoy the taste and quality of Papa John's pizzas but need assurance that I will receive the correct size in the future. I look forward to an improvement in my future orders and hope this feedback is taken seriously.

Read moreEasily the cleanest restaurant Iâve seen in 40 years! This is seriously RARE in the last 2 decades and this location REALLY stands out⌠I was so impressed and the owner/franchisee of this Papa Johnâs deserves huge accolades!
Also, all of the staff were friendly, helpful, attentive, and as they were all well dressed, and as they were all attentively working with obvious care, they added to a high degree of professionalism in the store. Every one of those qualities simply do not exist in service industries in the 2020âs, we have all become used to lazy workers, snappy attitudes, dirty restaurants & stores, long waits, sloppy uniforms (or no dress code at all), and very little attention to detail. Professional doesnât even enter the conversation in most places let alone take out locations! So once again, the owner/franchisee here deserves huge accolades. I only regret I had not discovered this location 6 years ago⌠Pizza Pizza, Dominos and Pizza Nova have been sad compromises with such poor quality and zero level of service, it has gotten to the point we donât even bother ordering pizza anymore. I believe that changed with this order for us!!
I donât normally write reviews this long & detailed, but this location stands SO FAR ahead of the competition, they deserve it!! WELL DONE Papa Johns...
Read moreI recently visited the Papa John's at 2025 William O'Connell Blvd and was thoroughly disappointed by my experience. This was not my first time eating at a Papa John's, but it was certainly the worst. The pizza I received was noticeably undercooked, with a doughy texture that was hard to ignore. Additionally, the toppings were sparse and did not meet the standard I've come to expect from this chain.
Moreover, the staff's attitude added insult to injury. They were unapologetically rude and dismissive when I raised my concerns about the quality of the pizza. It seemed like a hassle for them to address my complaints, which is unacceptable in any customer service scenario.
I've noticed that management tends to deflect responsibility rather than addressing the issues directly in their responses. I hope they take this feedback seriously and implement real changes to improve their service and product quality. As it stands, I cannot recommend this location to anyone based...
