Horrible. Service is terrible and bartenders need training in customer service. Unfriendly and argumentative. I asked for water with a splash of cranberry. She brought the drink, never asked me to pay for it or even if I wanted to order some food or start a tab. I assumed the drink was free. I was there for over 3 hours not once did anyone come back to ask if my drink was ok or if I wanted anything else. I put on my coat and with keys in hand prepare to leave.
The male bartender puts a bill on the bar but doesn't ask.. is that cash or charge? He ran away. I'm standing there with a $20 in my hand for 5 minutes. I felt that both bartenders were playing games with me or were totally incompetent because they justed stared but at no time did they attempt to ask for money. The female finally comes and starts arguing with me that's when I discovered that she reversed the contents of my drink insisting I ordered juice with a little water. I couldn't get a word in so this confirmed that she doesn't listen and got my order WRONG.
First off, I would never order lots of juice due to blood sugar issues. Second, had she asked if my drink was ok or asked me to pay for it I would have realized the drink was wrong. Third, it's customary to ask customers sitting at the bar to pay for their drink right away or if they want to run a tab. Fourth, had I been asked I would have ordered food, but the service was so bad I couldn't get anyone's attention. Seems they can only handle serving one customer at a time.
I will never go back. It appears that non alcohol drinkers are frowned upon. If you want to make money get new bartenders. Obviously not trained in deitary issues had I been a diabetic this could have been a disaster. Designated drivers and dietary concerned beware.
Update: I was with a group who left after me and found out that they were charged $12. a beer. One person was charged for more beer than he drank.Totally unacceptable to not put prices/drink menus out or ask customers to pay per drink so they get a huge surprise beer tab. And I thought $3 for water is bad. None of us are coming back.I give this place 6 months. Sheesh, no point talking to me...

Read moreMy family and I have been living in the neighbourhood for years and have frequented this establishment many of times because of the friendly and sociable staff. However, tonight during Dueling Pianos, we witnessed and experienced the most lacklustre service in any establishment we have visited. We made a reservation for the event and when we made our way in, there was no one to greet us at the door. When we finally asked a staff member walking around, there was no reservation to be found. We were seated, but for approximately 15 minutes, not one wait staff member visited our table of 5. One of us went up to the bar to order our drinks and appetizers. We then waited another 10 minutes. When the drinks finally came, one of the glasses were chipped (not a big deal as this happens), she then sent the drink back and it took another 10 minutes to re-make the one drink. As you can see this was essentially a snowball effect, as we can understand one mistake but not an increasingly worse experience which we felt staff and manager were oblivious to. When appetizers were dropped off (chicken bites were cold and tough), we informed the waitress of how less then ideal the service was; the blank stare was more revealing of the deep rooted lack of effort and respect for the clientele. The owner finally came back and asked the table that they had heard there was a complaint at the table. We shared that we were concerned he did not know what the problem was due to the pyramid of disappointments. We shared what we had experienced as explained above and that we were going to leave unless they chose to make it better. The least we expected was a complimentary appetizer. We chose to end our stay early and saw in the bill a percentage removed equal to 1.5 appetizers. Our deepest disappointment was the lack of care and acknowledgement of the lacklustre service. We are all industry...
