St. Louis Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Burlington

Went in to the restaurant for dinner and was impressed with the quality, taste and freshness of the food. It was prepared as described and was served hot. Service was good, restaurant and bathrooms were clean.

Sadly disappointed with the food from this new restaurant. We have ordered from the Appleby location for years... So we were excited that a new closer location opened up. As we are familiar with the menu, we expected same/similar food. This was not the case with the St.Louis wing Poutine (photo included). This meal was missing half the chicken that it usually comes in it, also missing the finishing touches, green onion, gravy was not added, rather on the side, which would not have been a big deal- however it was big lumpy gross chunks when it was applied. The chicken tender meals were good, would have been nice to receive some deviously good dip to accompany these two meals ... The NEW items wich I cannot compare this location to others, which were horrible and never to be order again... Were the honey garlic cheese buns, yuck, these must have replaced the pizza sticks ( those were amazing) and the new Chicago style....??? Pizza. It was a flat bread, complete waste of money and a disgrace for a replacement to the OG pizza....

This was our third time here. The first time was almost an accident, but it was quite good enough for us to come back. These past two times have been fabulous! My wife and I have both had the same meal both times. She had the honey Cajun chicken and I had the Angus burger. Tell me what you want about I it your favorite burger place but this is the best burger in Burlington in my opinion! The chicken sandwich must be pretty special also as my wife likes a chicken sandwich but never orders it. She has ordered it back to back here.

The service is fantastic and very attentive! Our server was Sarah, and she was great. I have to shout out the General Manager Tevon though.

I saw him interacting with every table in our area as well as serving them. For us, he did the same and also took time from what I am sure is quite busy in his position to talk with us and get to know my wife Melanie and I. He is so engaging, thoughtful, and courteous. We were already going to go back, but because of Tevon, we will go back and go back often, even if we had not planned to.

The prices and food quality impress my wife and I, but after today and our interactions and conversation with Tevon, this is now our favorite Burlington...

I’ve gone to many different St. Louis locations in Toronto and Mississauga so I had been excited to come here with my boyfriend for their all-you-can-eat chicken special for January.

I was disappointed to find the chicken was half breading half chicken. What appeared to be the manager/supervisor of this new location came to our table when my boyfriend had one piece of chicken left on his first plate of chicken. My boyfriend requested to order more chicken as he was almost finished and the manager/supervisor replied with, “No. You can’t order another round of chicken until you finish ALL of your side dishes.” For me I had gotten chips & dip. For my boyfriend it was veggies. He then said, “I believe in you!” and walked away.

We did not appreciate his tone of voice and now felt pressured to finish what we would have enjoyed throughout our meal before ordering more of what we came for - chicken. We were immediately turned off from the food which was no better than what you could buy frozen from the grocery store.

Our server was a very sweet woman who thankfully did not pressure me to finish my nacho chips before ordering a second plate of chicken.
