Let me start by saying the owner is a very kind man, and the food is amazing.
This place is about a 5 minute drive from my work. I figure if I order for pick up 15 minutes prior to my lunch break, that it should be ready, with my short commute there as a buffer. Uber even suggested an estimation of 5-15 minutes, though I thought with the amount of food I ordered, it may take longer (kofta meal, extra meat, plus a side of hummus and tabouleh). Sure enough, the pick up time had changed to a 25 minute ready-time, which was fine, I've taken it into consideration.
Upon arrival, it was not ready by the already increased estimated time. I had to wait an extra 15 minutes for it to be ready, which was the time I had left to eat comfortably before my break was over. The owner was kind and apologized, exclaiming he made me fresh hummus and tabouleh, but all that tells me is he wasn't ready for service.
To my displeasure, I could not even eat my lunch, as my break would be over by the time I got back to work. So I'm left disappointed and hangry, the smells of delicious, hot food, teasing me.
If there wasn't any hummus or tabouleh, that's fine, it should just be removed from the menu until you have more, but please, we rely on you heavily for punctuality for lunches, as we are alotted only a certain amount of time for breaks.
I do love the food here, and again, the owner is very kind. This experience won't keep me from visiting again (the hummus is divine). Just be wary of ordering when you're constricted on time.
I veered away from the more popular lunch selections, like a chicken shawarma, so perhaps just opt for...

The meat is tender and juicy, with a smoky, slightly charred flavor that makes it irresistible. The bread ( Saj or Pita) is soft and complements the meat perfectly. Toppings like fresh vegetables, pickles, and creamy sauces, such as garlic sauce and/or tahini, add layers of flavor and texture. The balance of savory, tangy, and sometimes spicy notes creates a satisfying bite every time. The portion size is generous, and the combination of flavors is incredibly satisfying.
