Samir Kabab House — Restaurant in Burlington

I don’t know where to start. THIS RESTAURANT IS INCREDIBLE! Me and my family were looking for someplace to eat and the restaurant we go to that’s similar was shut down temporarily for construction and we found this place so we decided to try and it did not fail us! Let’s start with service: Service is extraordinary. The waitress who took our orders was extremely nice and patient and she even offered us a free sample afterwards 😊 (I’ll get to that later) and her kindness really showed. She’s definitely the type of waitress that every restaurant needs and the type of waitress you want to see again if you return to Samir Kabab. Service: 10/10

Food: This might make you hungry.. We ordered the beef Kabab and chicken Kabab with the rice and it came With the naan bread on the side and a bowl of salad + sauce I must say.. even the water was good 😆 It was very yummy cold water 👍 Seriously. The whole meal tasted Like a literal bite of heaven.👏👏👏👏👏✨✨✨ No matter how full I was it was just TOO good. The rice was perfection and the naan was just.. i think it’s pretty self explanatory. Let me just quickly paint a picture in your Mind: Imagine taking a bite of naan that tastes like naan you’ve NEVER had before. With a crisp yet soft bite your mouth instantly catches the flavour, warm and doughy and just right. You can’t resist taking more afterwards! Also the whole meal was just and explosion of flavour like fireworks in your mouth. Price was pretty fair for a meal so big. Then we were offered a sample of cake and at first I was reluctant but NO WAY was it that good. The cream balanced out the caramel and the moist and sponge cake. PERFECTION. We ordered about 4 plates and still had loads of rice left afterwards! 😝 Food: 10000000/10 (Ok realistically 10/10 but still..)

Atmosphere: The setting was nice and cozy with really fancy chairs I must say that silver lion at the back made it look so much cooler! The pictures on the walls really added to everything and the tables were also really nice! I wouldn’t have expected something so FANCY AND PRETTY YET SIMPLE!! There was even a mini area with fake lavender hanging from the wall!! Atmosphere: 10/10

So all in all I DEFINITELY recommend going and trying it out for yourself! Will definitely...

This is a new restaurant in Burlington area.So the ambience and atmosphere is new.I went here thinking was part of the Samir restaurant in Centennial road(Hamilton) where good quality food is served at reasonable prices.I have been going to that one for 12+ yrs now.I visit that place once every month.

This Samir in Burlington turned out to be a disaster.The food, was expensive, small portions and I was provided with burnt shami Kebob(part of the ordered sultani kebab).Couldn't eat it due to that. For the $$ spent here, they offer ridiculous portions compared to many other Afghan restaurants in the GTA.The tikka kebab were tiny and had only 5 count of 1 inch tikka cubes.This is absolutely cheap and ridiculous price gouging.

Even the tomato chutney was offered in a tiny container (compared to the other places). They didnt provide any chutney with a wrap that was ordered.What were they thinking? To eat the wrap dry? Any other kebab store will offer some friggin sauce.Many places provide additional and dont even charge for it. Asked for chutney for wrap and they charged for it.It seems the business model is around their chutney and not in providing quality food and service to their customers. By indulging in such cheap and ridiculous tactics, they are sure to loose lot of customers. The owners and staff dont seem to be enthusiastic of providing quality food and quality customer service.

I asked the staff if they were part of Samir at Hamilton and they replied in negative and I asked them about this price gouging and she walked off.

I won't be surprised if these people loose their customers and close their business (if they continue to indulge in such cheap tactics and providing poor quality food).

I have been to so many Afghani restaurants in Ontario and no one has these small portions, these prices and price gouging.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the culinary delights from Samir Catering and Kabab House , and I must say, they truly live up to their five-star reputation. From the initial consultation to the day of the event, their professionalism and attention to detail were evident.

I’d also like to commend them on their punctuality and their efficient setup and cleanup process. Everything was seamless, allowing us to focus on our guests and enjoy our event without any hitches.

In conclusion, if you’re looking for a catering service that offers an unparalleled dining experience combined with exceptional service, I wholeheartedly recommend Samir Catering . They have set the bar high for what one should expect from a five-star catering service.
