Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Burlington

Just had an absolutely terrible experience at this location and it’s not the first time. Would give 0 stars if I could. Earlier today my son and I went to the drive thru. We wanted to use our Tim’s card rewards and offers. We placed our order at the drive thru and specifically said we wanted two separate orders to take advantage of our rewards. When we got to the drive thru window they first said they were out of hot chocolate (not sure how) so I could not have a mocha. They made me a coffee instead and I was charged full price for the mocha!

When I went to scan my card and pay, the scanner beeped but I did not get my free reward. I paid full price. When I questioned the lady she ignored me. When I went to pay and scan for the second order using my son's cell, again it was scanned and beeped but then she said how are we paying? It was supposed to be charged to the app, and a discount applied but it did not work and we had to pay full price again. So clearly it’s an issue with the scanner. When we questioned this second issue she again completely ignored us and was extremely rude. Yes there were other cars in line behind us but that’s no excuse for terrible customer service. We did not get our rewards and offers, we did not earn any points and I was charged full price for a mocha and only received a coffee.

I also placed a formal complaint with Tim Hortons directly through the rewards app. They could not do anything as the card was not scanned so they have no record of the transaction. They said they will followup with the store directly. As an update, Tim Hortons head office did issue me some points as an apology which I did appreciate.

If you want a Tim Hortons I recommend you pass this one by and try a different location. I will not return. Many other franchises nearby that have better customer service, reward scanners that work and have ordinary...

I recently visited a Tim Hortons location, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish!

Atmosphere:

The restaurant was warm, clean, and inviting – the perfect spot for a quick breakfast or a coffee break. The seating area was well-maintained, with plenty of space and a comfortable layout. I appreciated the welcoming ambiance, especially on a cold morning.

The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. Despite the morning rush, my order was taken with a smile, and the line moved quickly. My food and coffee were ready in just a few minutes, and everything was handed to me with care. You could tell the team was well-coordinated and committed to great service.

Food & Drinks:

I ordered a medium double-double and a Farmer’s Breakfast Wrap, and both were absolutely perfect. The coffee was rich, creamy, and served at the ideal temperature. The wrap was fresh, warm, and loaded with flavor – the sausage, egg, and cheese all came together beautifully. I also grabbed a hashbrown, which was hot and perfectly crispy. Everything tasted fresh and hit the spot.

Value:

For under $10, I got a hearty breakfast and a satisfying coffee – a great deal for the quality of food and service. Tim Hortons continues to deliver fantastic value, which is why it’s such a reliable choice.

In the past, my experience with this location was not very positive, as I frequently received the wrong items. This often left me disappointed and even made me consider not returning. However, in the last few days, I’ve noticed a clear improvement in the service. A new team member has joined—her name is Camal (apologies if I spelled it incorrectly)—and she has completely changed my experience with this store. She always serves with a warm and genuine smile that can brighten anyone’s day. She takes my order carefully, prepares everything fresh, and ensures it is always correct. Her soft-spoken and professional approach makes the service experience not only accurate but also very pleasant. I am truly impressed with the level of care and dedication she shows to customers.
