For a take out only place I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered their dinner for 4 combo and it fed our family of 5 plus leftovers. Everything was hot and fresh absolutely nothing spicy which was great for my kids. The Ginger beef was crispy with a sweet sticky sauce, sometimes this dish can be a bit spicy but this one was very sweet same with the sweet and sour pork. I like that the chow main was sent in 2 separate containers one had the stir fried noodles, the other veggies and sauce so we could mix this at home it was not soggy. The fried rice was nice nothing fancy simple fried rice but did not taste old or like it had been sitting around. The spring rolls not pictured were classic deep fried rolls we got them fresh out of the fryer too hot to eat actually. Over all everything we had tasted freshly prepared to order. The only thing I will note is the food was very saucy and ran on the sweet side again this was perfect for my kids. If I was ordering here again I would go with some steamed rice because the dishes were so saucy and perhaps had a spicy dish to the order for myself.

Worst take out of the year award goes too: Chili Dragon. We were really busy on Friday and thought we would give this place a chance. I am not one to post a really negative review, I try to be objective and fair in all my reviews... but this was truly bad. What you see in the pic is the remainder of what no one would eat after the first few bites. The honey garlic chicken was very bad...and I am not sure what it was because the texture was very weird and the pieces were shaped like a pork chop that was cubed. The chicken with vegetables was more like 3 day old soup of some kind and the sweet and sour pork tasted like it had been quickly defrosted and dunked in the current sauce then thrown in the container. Both pork's had strangely soft texture and no crispness to be found anywhere. The rice was ok, but it's hard to mess up rice. Truly a waste of $60+ as what you see went in the bin this morning. No second chances with this place...hard no put next to their phone number in my phone in case I get confused in a year and can't remember which place it was. Epically bad.

Gluten free Chinese food! Yes, you read that correctly! Actually gluten free Chinese food. Including the battered meats! This is the first time I’ve ever encountered a gluten free Chinese food restaurant! I got their most popular dish: the sesame chicken. It’s the first fried Chinese food I’ve had since getting celiac disease. The crispy fried chicken was delightful! It was served very hot and they prepared it so quickly too. It had great cuts of chicken too. The associate who I talked with on the phone was very kind and courteous and worked hard with her staff to get my food ready quickly as I was in a rush. This restaurant only adds 3 minutes to your route when you go from Vancouver back to the US! 5 stars!

This is a great new Chinese food restaurant in the busy Canada way and Edmonds strip mall. We ordered a few items to get a feel for the place.

Service: such friendly and helpful service. When I called in the gal I spoke to was just lovely. Such a nice departure from the terse customer service received at other restaurants.

Restaurant interior: the new owners renovated the space in a fresh and modern way with neutral colours, nice tables and pretty lighting. It will be very nice to eat in when dine in is an option again in BC.

Food: Individual combo with chow mein, sweet and sour pork and beef vegetables. The chow mein was awesome, not too dry with nice pieces of chicken breast. Sweet and sour was plentiful and I found the sauce perfect- not sickly sweet. The beef vegetables was a bit disappointing as it was mostly bok choy with one piece of carrot. The beef tasted a bit odd too but the sauce was delicious.

Singapore noodles: really good quality ingredients were let down by an overly floral tasting curry powder. No curry powder is created the same so hopefully they can change this up?

Vegetable fried rice: I loved the type of rice used, a short grain similar to a broken rice. Was a great dish with all the various veggies.

Kung pao chicken: what a great dish! Full of flavour, huge pieces of white chicken and lots of veggies. Wasn’t spicy enough for my husband but I thought it was perfect! We just added some chili flakes to his!

Overall, a great first experience and we are keen to return and try some other dishes. Welcome to the...

Wow! Just enjoyed a gluten/dairy/msg-free dinner from Chili Dragon, and it was fantastic! We had salt and pepper fried calamari and it was crispy and tasty; amazed that it wasn’t soggy on arrival. It was accented with some jalapeño slices, onions, and green pepper strips - absolutely delicious! For mains we had crispy ginger beef, stir-fried mix veggies, and Kung Pao prawns (and a side of rice). All dishes were fantastic! Sauces seemed authentic and delicious, and each matched the dish (unlike some places that seem to pour the same sauce on everything). The ginger beef had long strips of ginger, almost candy - mmmmm😀. Also, the beef was in chunks instead of strips - a wonderful beef to crispy coating ratio and better, imo, than the traditional strips. The veggies were fresh and cooked well. All in all this was one of the best Chinese meals we’ve enjoyed, regardless of the gluten/dairy/msg avoidance. A perfect combination of spicy, sweet, and salty - great job!! We had three mains and the calamari appie, so too much food for two, but we will definitely be enjoying the leftovers tomorrow. I should add we used Skip for delivery. We’ve had some lousy experiences with them, but today was a pleasant exception. Farisha was the driver - prompt, pleasant, and professional. All the food was hot and fresh; she didn’t waste any time getting it to us. Highly recommend...

This was our first experience at Chili Dragon and it certainly won't be the last. Having celiac disease in the family complicates enjoying good takeout, but we've been reading the reviews and took the plunge last night. We picked sweet and sour pork, special fried rice, and chicken vermicelli with the noodles replacing the chow mein to make them gluten free.

All three dishes were excellent and now the only questions are what to pick next!

The sweet and sour pork was different from other SSP (probably from the non wheat flour coating) but it was really to the benefit of the pork since the dish was all about the pork, and not necessarily about the coating or the sauce which was just the right amount. there was sauce there, but it wasn't overloaded.

The special fried rice was delicious and not at all greasy as some can be. The prawns were lovely and the whole dish was very enjoyable.

The chicken vermicelli was also very flavorful with the noodles being an excellent substitution!

It was well worth the 30 minute drive each way, and as I said when I was there "I will definitely be back".

Thank you chili dragon for...
