Visited Mineiros for the first time today as I was looking for a local coffee shop. Stumbled onto this gem of a place and this will be my local coffee shop from now on. The owner, Claudemir, was so friendly and we chatted quite awhile about Brazil and how he ended up opening the shop here on Edmonds. I tried the cheese balls (Pao de Queijo) and they were delicious with my morning coffee. I had heard from some Brazilian people that coxinha was very popular and delicious so I decided I had to try it. It was indeed VERY good and I was not disappointed at all. I could have had more than one...or two! It was warm, savoury and stuffed with chicken and cream cheese and they did not scrimp on the chicken. There is a wide variety of Brazilian desserts and canned food items here as well as meals. You can eat in or take out. The place itself has two or three tables so we sat in and ate but there isn't much room if it got busy. I notice there is a covered space outside so perhaps as the weather warms up you can have your food outside. Overall, a great find. I will be...

As a Canadian-Brazilian, I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to see a place like Mineiros Brazilian Bistro thriving here in Burnaby. This little bistro is a labor of love, and you can taste the dedication and craftsmanship in every bite.
We ordered the Feijoada, and I have to say—it was delicious! The rice was perfectly cooked, the kale and orange were a welcome and traditional touch, and the feijoada itself was hearty and flavorful. If I may humbly suggest, a little more smokiness from a linguiça or smoked bacon and the addition of bay leaf would bring it even closer to the traditional flavor profile we know and love in Brazil. Still, for such a labor-intensive dish, the price was more than fair—and the love behind it, unmistakable.
The coxinhas, both large and small, were impeccable. The dough was crisp and flavorful, the filling generous and well-seasoned. The kibbeh was also excellent—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and cooked to perfection.
We were also delighted to find a variety of Brazilian sweets and desserts, from creamy pudim de leite to other classic treats. They also offer a range of Brazilian groceries—from açaí and pão de queijo to homemade sausages and hard-to-find ingredients.
This is a rare and wonderful place—a true gem that deserves to be preserved, celebrated, and supported. We send our warmest wishes to Amanda and her family. May your business prosper, grow, and bless many others with a taste of Brazil.

As coxinhas, tanto as pequenas quanto a grande, estavam impecáveis. Massa crocante e saborosa, recheio generoso e bem temperado.

Saw on Instagram about this little place and decided to come out for a quick lunch.
If you want Brazilian food, this is where you should come. My beautiful princess approves of this place (she Brasileira!) I had the Oxtail, which is cooked well, extremely close to falling off directly off from the bone.
Service was fast, staffs are friendly. If you are English only, the language barrier may be an extremely small obstacle. Atmosphere is almost unappealing, but has its charm. Inside seating is very limited, but from what I can see, you are welcome to get your plate and eat in your car. Prices can be expensive if you want to try everything, but due to the cultural ingredient constraint, very much reasonable.
