A very nice place with excellent coffee, but in recent years the vibe has dipped. Staff often take video calls with kids on speaker phone behind the counter; kids on speaker phone sound absolutely dreadful to everyone who has to listen. This has seemingly encouraged patrons to take more speaker phone calls, too, so the place is filled with the irritating wispy noise of speaker phone calls. It's so unpleasant I can't really hang out there as long as I'd like to anymore.

Staff need to start using headphones for their calls and ask patrons to do the same so this can be a peaceful, chill place again. Nothing wrong with calls, but speaker phone shouldn't happen around other people. It's a horrible sound. Along with that, people are often watching videos or listening to music, all with no headphones. This isn't the sort of behaviour we should see in a chill coffee shop.

I cannot fault their coffee; it's some of the best coffee in Calgary. Food has improved recently too. A lot of it was terrible a few years ago, but recently they've vastly overhauled the menu and everything is great. Things that might contain nuts are not marked as much which is a bit annoying, though.

As it is right now, this is not a good place to hang out. It's too chaotic and noisy, and the staff are encouraging that by taking speaker phone calls too. So it's a good place to dip in quickly for a coffee, but certainly not to hang out.
