This place has a nice selection of drinks and baked goods. It’s also more spacious than other cat cafes I’ve been too, and the organization seems better (with lanyards for everyone in a designated time slot and lockers to put jackets in). All the cat toys and other cat-themed paraphernalia is also very cute. There are also many paintings by Calgary-based artists available, so it’s nice to see support for many different communities. Calling a day or a few hours ahead/booking online is definitely recommended since you can end up waiting for hours for a free walk-in spot if it’s busy. While you have to sign a waiver that contains information on how to handle cats, it seems that most people don’t read them. There are also many parents who don’t supervise their children properly, most likely because they themselves don’t know how to handle cats. The cats’ tempers are certainly very good and none become hostile towards humans when agitated, but it’s clear that many of them are annoyed by the ways people pet/play with them. More supervision and instruction by staff would definitely be an improvement to an otherwise very nice cafe.

A unique cafe experience for my family. We live in a small condo and can’t really have any cats or dogs. It was nice to go to a cafe and grab some coffee while petting cats. Coffee prices are what you’d expect it to be although I was a bit surprised about the price of going into the cat room. They charge $10 per person to visit the cats for 30 mins which is a little steep. I understand that there are cost associated to keeping the cats there such as rent and food but perhaps a family package or a kids rate would help offset this high price. Or maybe if the guests buys X amount of drinks, food or souvenirs they can perhaps visit the cats for free. I dunno? I would come back more/often if it didn’t cost $10 per person. Having that high price just limits me from coming back sooner as it’s a bit steep. Anyways I’m still giving it a 5 star review but I really wish you’d reconsider your prices or maybe do a minimum spend at the cafe that allows access to the cats ($25?) or even a kids rate ($5?)

I would give 5 stars, but they have flowers that are deadly to cats on every table. Mentioned it to an employee and she said since it’s not in the same room it doesn’t matter. She’s probably correct that it’s lower risk, but the pollen is enough to kill a cat. Lily’s are one of the deadliest plants for cats. I can think of several ways it could interact with the cats. And it’s sending misinformation to the people they want to adopt the cats. Edit: thank you for replying to my message. I feel much better and am very glad that you take the care to check what plants you bring in. My review is changed to reflect that new information. Still wish the employee I mentioned it to had maybe said something like this or at least that they would check / follow up with management rather than telling me poison plants were okay and then mocking me to their coworker in front of me. 👍

Whether you own cats or not, spending time here is a fun and heartwarming time. It’s $10 a person for 45 minutes. It’s not too expensive but also not super cheap. But know that it’s for a good cause! The kitties are cute and it seems that the cats are always getting adopted here! The macarons are cute (shaped like a cat). They’re decently priced and the drinks are between $4-6 depending on the size and type of drink. The cats are friendly and so are the staff! Also lots of cool cat themed merch in here! The place is also very clean and well decorated. I did kind of wished that we had more time with the cats, an extra 15 would be nice! Don’t go too late because the kittens are quite sleepy and you don’t get to play with them as much. Try aiming for earlier in the day. Overall a solid experience.

Such a nice experience! Had a blueberry saskatoon for dessert there after lunch, and took home two cat shaped macarons. Was very enjoyable to go into separate cat area afterwards to spend time with the kitties, as I was away from home and missing my own cat (silly as it may sound). All of the cats were available for adoption, as well as a few kittens :) The staff were friendly, and give you a locker/key to put your stuff in while you're in with the felines. Important that you wash your hands before and after handling, and treat the animals with respect. Sounds like common sense but some people just don't have it, and may end up bringing a loud, tail-pulling kid or toddler. Bottom line: a great place to visit as a cafe by itself, and extra nice if you're a cat lover

I am allergic to cat but my family like cat so this cafe work . The cafe have two different parts, one side is cafe and foods/ drinks and behind the glass walls is the cat area. To go to the cat room you will go pass a washing station. $10 /45 min a person and each session can only have 12 person in the cat room if the person is less then 10 years old then they have to accompany by an adult. There is a stuff in the cat room at all time. The foods are bake good and they have gluten free and vegan food choices. The cat room are designed so that if the cats doesn't want to interact with human then they can go high and hide. There are usually 10 cats in the room and they only stay for two week, by the end of two weeks they usually get adopted and new cats will come in.
