We discovered Apollo Pizza on the "Too Good To Go" app. My husband and I each reserved a surprise bag. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very happy and welcoming man and his daughter and son. He allowed us to each choose a pizza (I think it may have been small size). We received two hot, perfectly cooked pizzas (crust was amazing!) . They were really good! He also gave us each a few chicken wings to try. He was so nice! I would give his service, his pizza and the atmosphere 5 stars!
About a week or so later we decided to try Apollo Pizza again, but order pizza for the whole family. My husband grabbed another too good to go surprise bag, hoping to try a different pizza and we ordered a large and medium pizza online for pick up. When we arrived at the store, a lady was working alone, I believe. She definitely was not as cheery as the guy who was there last time. She didn't really seem like she wanted to be there. We also found out that the Too Good To Go surprise bag was a few slices of pizza they had in their pizza carousel and nothing we could choose off the menu. The slices placed on top of each other in a plastic to-go box. This lead to the slices sticking together and falling apart. The two pizzas we ordered weren't very good. They were under cooked leaving the crust doughy and kind of soggy. They lacked the flavor that we first experienced. Super disappointed.
When I was about to leave the store, I was told I could choose a free can of pop if I left a google review. I asked if I could review later, she said that I had to review before I left and show her the review before I could get the pop. Like how am I supposed to give an honest review BEFORE I try the pizza. I left without a free pop.
I am not sure we will return. Possibly if the man we had the pleasure of dealing with is there and...

After placing the order, there was no confirmation or tracking information for over 30 minutes, leaving me completely in the dark. When I called the store, I was informed that the order had been cancelled due to an unavailable item, and no communication had been sent to notify me. This lack of transparency and customer communication is unacceptable. The order was eventually fulfilled, but it arrived nearly 1.50 hours after being placed, which is far from reasonable. The only redeeming part of the experience was the professionalism of Jashan, the staff member who took my call and provided the necessary information with patience and clarity. I strongly advise against using Apollo Pizza’s website for delivery orders. The system is unreliable and clearly needs significant improvement. For a more dependable experience, use third-party platforms like Uber Eats, DoorDash, or SkipTheDishes for the time being. This experience reflects poorly on the store and franchise management, and I hope it is taken seriously as an opportunity for...
Read moreMy first visit because I was in the neighbourhood (not too far from home though) and I would go here again just for the food and service. Both were outstanding! Every customer that came in was greeted right away and attended to. The storefront mentions they are from Brampton. Calgary can learn a thing or two from this establishment in my humble opinion. It seems to be a family business and all were so kind and welcoming. I didn’t wait to get home to try the pizza and wings I got. Everything was exactly how I like my food. Hot, soft top and crisp bottom. They customized my pizza with the toppings I preferred. Next time I will be more adventurous and try their butter and tandoori version. They really did go the extra even though they were super busy on a Saturday night. I really want to try their ice cream rolls too! I noticed a few pizza restaurants offered this as well. Something new (I think)...
