I don’t know if words can do justice to what I experienced at Kabob City, but I’ll try. This place isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a sanctuary for anyone who appreciates incredible food, exceptional vibes, and next-level hospitality.

Let’s start with the customer service. From the second you walk in, it feels like you’re royalty. The staff? Absolute legends. Smiling, attentive, and always one step ahead. It’s like they can read your mind—before you even think of asking for anything, it’s already in front of you.

And the ambiance? Oh man, it’s perfect. The lighting, the décor, the way everything flows—it’s the kind of place you just want to sit in forever. Whether you’re on a romantic date, catching up with the crew, or just vibing solo, it’s got a vibe that hits different.

Now, the food. My God. The kabobs here? Unreal. Tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection, each bite feels like a celebration. The rice is fluffy, the hummus is smooth and rich, and the garlic sauce? Well, I hate to be that guy, but… I gotta be honest, eh? I grabbed a kebob here thinking it’d be a nice, hearty bite. Instead, I got a one-way ticket to digestive disaster. Within the hour, my stomach was doing backflips and, well, let’s just say I got real familiar with the bathroom tiles.

The meat tasted like it was marinated in regret and left out just long enough to become a science experiment. Texture? Somewhere between rubber and mystery. I’ve had better meals at gas stations off the highway in the middle of a snowstorm.

Now, I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I feel like the public needs to know. If you’re into food roulette and spontaneous intestinal cleansing — go for it. But if you value your gut, maybe give this one...

A new gem in th NE of Calgary. This restaurant offers really good fusion food. They have a fun and bright atmosphere. And the food was delicious. An assortment of drinks and desserts line the fridges. Decently priced at $15-$20 per entree. Have a few tables to dine in and also offer takeout. My favorite thing is the open kitchen with the fresh meat cooking right infront of your eyes. Overall it was a 5 star experience. I'd definitely suggest the mantuu, they are Afghan dumplings with a stuffing of minced beef. The flavors were spectacular. And the large wraps are as big as a grown man's thigh.
