It was an okay experience overall.

Tl;dr: no AMEX accepted chips were stale loud phone sound a bit hard to understand attendant through mask, although they were helpful overall not sure if packaging is compostable

Menu on the screens was easy to read and was able to come to a decision relatively quickly. One attendant helped me and it seemed as if the other person was new there. It was hard to understand the attendant at times due to the mask they wore.

I got 2 sets of 3 tacos and some extreme fries. I would've liked to have been asked whether I wanted all the tacos the same or not. It would've been nice to have some variation when eating. Thankfully, I asked about the extreme fries and the attendant was happy to offer a vegetarian alternative when I mentioned I didn't want beef in it. Thanks for that!

The phone rang a few times and seemed to play very loudly. Not something I would want to hear without answering after a while.

When it got time to pay I mentioned I wanted to use American Express as I saw a sign on the door which said they accept that form of payment. However I wasn't able to pay with it as the attendant informed me they don't take it. Not helpful if I expected to use it. :( The POS terminal took a long time and had to reboot. In that time it seemed the attendant went and did other things making me feel unimportant as a customer. I would've preferred that they stick around until the transaction was done.

When eating the food the chips were stale and not tasty. The tacos were good. Don't know how long the fish was deep fried until it was given to me. The containers did not specify whether they were compostable. I would've preferred seeing that notice on the packaging. Guava jarrito was tasty.

From the first bite to the last, I can sincerely say that this is one of the best meals I've eaten in my entire life. I ordered the ground beef quesadilla with corn, red onion, green pepper, cheese, and pickled onion as well as salsa and sour cream on the side and everything about my meal was perfect. In fact, this was not simply a meal, it was an experience. Every single flavour met my tongue with intention, every ingredient delivered more than pristine quality. The portion size was quite literally just right, I was able to finish everything and felt full and satisfied once I did. I had never eaten at barBURRITO before and I, like you perhaps, had my reservations about chain Mexican food. However, after the incredible experience I've had this will most certainly be a regular indulgence for me. I daresay the quesadilla I've eaten today has changed my life, and changed it...
