Beckham's Pub & Eatery — Restaurant in Calgary

Came in as a family of 4, ordered a steak sandwich, beef dip, poutine and a buffalo chicken wrap. We asked the waitress what comes on the buffalo chicken wrap and she said buffalo sauce. We asked again if there is any blue cheese or ranch ( cause my daughter won't eat it and it wasn't mentioned on the menu). Again waitress said nope nothing but buffalo sauce. Our food comes out steak sandwich it literally a steak on a piece of white sliced bread?? Isn't a sandwich 2 breads. The poutine was fine. The beef dip was over cooked with crispy edges and the au jus was so salty you couldn't use it. But of course the buffalo chicken wrap had ranch on it. Waited for the waitress to ask about first bites nope couldn't find her. She is at the bar talking to the bartender. My daughter goes over to tell them about the ranch and the bartender says that's how it comes. Well we specifically asked twice if anything comes on it. They say they will remake it. They take her plate away didn't leave her fries or anything as we are all eating our meal. Waitress came by 15min later and said it will be out in a min they are " triple checking it". Then she avoids us. 10min after that we called her over as we are all finished our food. My daughter has nothing so we ask for it to go. It has now been 30 min since we had this remade. It comes out on a plate so we ask for a to go box and the bill. We also ask it they can do anything about her meal. She left and talked to the bartender came back and said no they dont give discounts. Discounts you messed up my daughter's meal. She came back with the bill set the tip to zero and cashed us out. Couple things here, if your not sure what come on the meal ( she looked new) go to the back and ask. ...

A Disappointing Dip in Quality for Beckham's Once-Legendary Wings Beckham's has long held a special place in the hearts of Calgary wing enthusiasts, mine included. For years, their wings were a benchmark, often ranking among the city's elite, if not at the very top. As someone who considers themselves a connoisseur of this classic pub fare, having sampled wings from countless establishments, I've consistently recommended Beckham's to out-of-town guests, confident in their ability to deliver a consistently excellent experience. However, a recent visit delivered a truly perplexing and frankly, disappointing, surprise. The wings, usually a highlight, were a shadow of their former selves. The quality had plummeted to a degree that was almost unbelievable, leading me to honestly say I've had more enjoyable wings from a 7-Eleven in the wee hours of the morning. It's unclear what has changed. This could be an isolated incident, an unfortunate "one-off" that doesn't reflect a permanent shift. Yet, the stark difference in quality has significantly altered my perception. The crispy, flavourful, and perfectly sauced wings I'd come to expect were replaced by something that simply missed the mark on all fronts. Beckham's has been a reliable go-to for years, a place where good food and good company were always guaranteed. But if this recent experience is indicative of a new standard for their once-celebrated wings, it regrettably calls into question future visits. Everytime we call for delivery, as we have a 4 month old baby, the staff is ALWAYS upbeat and friendly, and makes sure you always hang up with a smile. The food is great, always cooked to perfection and delivered in a timely manner. The delivery driver, he's awesome! Always happy when coming to the door and ALWAYS asks how your doing before asking for a payment. he is also always willing to chat for a few minutes, which is nice to not have to stand there in awkward silence. Overall, awesome job guys! Will keep recommending! Why we love Beckham's! June 29/16- Havent had Beckhams in some time so we were craving it! Ordered a pizza and an order of wings. It was a bit late, but no big deal- ita always good! ...this time we got a pizza, that the toppings had slid right off into the box and turned the crust soggy. Unfortunately, we could not save it, :( We called right away, and the first gentlemen that answered the phone was very friendly and happy. After hearing my issue, he was apologetic, and very prompt with finding a manager to assist with what he should do. The manager, Justin, gets on the phone- super friendly, great attitude, and apologetic as well.. He rectified the situation extremely well and I was very impressed. Good team...
