The reviews are all so accurate that it feels a bit redundant of me coming to say the same. But I have had this place bookmarked for a while and finally made it, and oh boy was I missing out big time!

I had the Grilled Pork Bánh Mí and the baguette was out of this world, warm, soft and airy with the perfect crust; not too hard that would stab your mouth, you know what I mean? The pork portion was very generous and it was so tender, the seasoning so flavorful with the right amount of sweet and salty and real charred flavour. The veggies were as fresh as they can be. Every bite was a heavenly experience 🤌🏼

This is no doubt the best Vietnamese sub I've ever had and I'm afraid that all other subs are ruined for me now. It's a shame this is only a weekend market to be honest.

Everything else coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled so good that I can't wait to go back and try more dishes! The service was very friendly and he was very patient with my questions about the spice levels!

The sub was $15 tax included, and it was worth every penny. Other dishes seemed on a higher side compared to other Vietnamese restaurants but keep in mind a few things: all restaurants in this market and other farmer's markets in Calgary are on the higher price side. The portions served here are easily twice the size of other Vietnamese restaurants and lastly, the quality of the ingredients is undoubtedly higher!

Ah and they give you a complementary tea that was so delicious! And the packaging for the Bánh Mí was so cute and held my sub in place for the ride home.

DELICIOUS food & outstanding customer experience! We placed a special order for a party platter for an outdoor picnic, consisting of assorted Banh Mi’s, wraps, and spring rolls. All the food was attentively packaged, and the owner Danny even gave me a hand out to bring everything to the car.

The Banh Mi was simply outstanding! I tried the grilled beef, and my sister had the classic. Every component was superb, from the meats, the pâté spread, the toasty baguette, and the refreshing pickled veggies (packaged separately so it won’t cause soggy bread). Portions were generous, and left one’s tummy fully satisfied. The wraps were a delightful lower-carb alternative to the Banh Mi, but retained the same satisfying flavour. And the SPRING ROLLS! Light and crispy, delicious filling, great textures, pairs perfectly with the classic dipping sauce.

Food aside, the husband & wife owners were so kind and helpful. They included cutlery & napkins for us, and made sure we had all the condiments, sauces, and chilis. All the food was attentively prepared and presented, and they even included free tea for us. It was evident that the taste and food experience was at their top of mind.

We are very grateful to the owners for making our picnic a hit! Even my sister with her very discerning tastebuds was happy with all the food.
