My wife and I have been visiting this place since April 2023, and today was for a special occasion. I'll be specific with this review because this is a Peruvian food restaurant.
1- Reservation: There is no need for it, you just drop off. This place also works on Canadian holidays.
2- How to get there? We used the train, so we took the Blue Line to 3rd Street Station, then the Red Line to Canyon Meadows, and then we walked for 15 min. You will get to a big place full of restaurants from different countries, and this is right in one of the corners.
3- At the restaurant: The menu is pretty varied and prices are as expected; I'd say it is cheaper compared to other restaurants. They have a menu for meals and drinks.
4- Our order (photos attached): Dine in: I ordered 1/4 roasted chicken leg with two sides ($15), and my wife a Parihuela ($20). We also ordered a cup of Chicha Morada ($3) and a can Inca Kola ($3) to drink.
5- Rating: Overall 5/5, Place 4.5/5, Food 5/5, Service 4.5/5. a) 1/4 roasted chicken leg with two sides: the taste was really good and the portion was more than I expected (rate 5/5). b) Parihuela: taste was good, and portion was good (rate 4.5/5).
Recommendations: a) For the customers: find a table before purchasing your meal. b) For the restaurant: serve one more round of sauces for free, we will appreciate it!
Finally, I would like to recommend this place to everyone in Calgary and Canada!

Read moreI recently visited this restaurant, known as one of the best Peruvian spots in the city, and was excited to try their food for the first time. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. I purchased arroz con leche, only to discover the next day that it was spoiled.
After storing it properly in my fridge alongside other fresh and frozen items, I took it to work the next day, eager to enjoy it. However, as soon as I started eating, I noticed an unusual tang—almost like carbonation. Thinking it might be the raisins, I gave it another try, but the sour taste persisted. A quick sniff confirmed that it had gone bad.
As a customer, I trust restaurants to prioritize food safety, especially when people spend their hard-earned money on meals. This experience left me not only disappointed but also fighting nausea while working an extra shift on a Sunday—something that could have easily been avoided with basic attention to quality and health standards.
I hope this feedback encourages the restaurant to ensure better quality control moving forward. Mistakes happen, but food safety should never be...
Read moreOrdered for the first time today through Uber Eats, and I was very impressed. It's my first time trying Peruian cuisine so I don't have a benchmark, but the food was very tasty.
Tried the rotissrie chicken which came with fries and the chicken was very well marinated. I loved the sauces at the side, there were 3 different varieties and they were the best sauces I've ever had!
Also, tried their chicken fried rice (Arroz Chaufa Con Pollo), this was not very impressive. The rice was literally dropping oil and the chicken pieces were over fried and hard.
Lastly tried their dessert - Torta Tres Leeches and this was one of the best cakes I've had.
Overall will visit again for their sipping sauces and dessert.
One star less for the fried rice and they can do better quantities for the...
