Mexquisite — Restaurant in Calgary

Absolutely incredible!!! We had the chicken quesadilla and street corn. Both were delicious and very authentic! I fell in love with a quesadilla in Cabo and theirs is just as good! Also their homemade salsa is unbelievable! There’s a slight (very slight) smokiness to it that is so so good. In addition to the amazing food the owners and staff are so sweet, hard working and polite. You can tell they are passionate about their business and that the food is made with love. They’re a bit hard to find - look for them at the back of the Avenida food market - but once you find them it’s sooooo worth it!!! I cannot recommend this place...

The two lads working there were super friendly and happy to chat while helping me pick something out. I went with the chicken torta and wow, it was a winner. Warm, cheesy, and a solid portion that actually fills you up. The side of tortilla chips and that sauce hit the spot too.

Visited in June and shared the El Jefe torta with my husband. Such an exquisite sandwich loaded to the max. Sharing enabled us to try other things on their menu including the delicious mango cheesecake. The owners are so kind. The food portions are generous.
