There were maybe 4 or 5 other tables in the dinning room with at least 2 servers on but my husband and I had to wait over 5 minutes to be greeted. When our server did show up she did not seem apologetic at all and her tone made it sound like we were an inconvenience to her the entire time we were there. (Maybe her shift was suppose to be over I don't know) my husband and I ordered our meal right away as we were quite hungry he ordered an individual pepperoni pizza and I got their new cherry bomb thing crust margarita pizza. While the food was good and hot the only thing I must have missed was that my pizza isn't made with pizza sauce on it, which I thought that it would be considering I have never had a margarita pizza without it. So I asked the waitress for just a small side of marinara sauce and what I got was enough for probably three pizzas! That part that annoyed me though was that when the bill came I was charged $3.00 for this and was never told it would be an additional cost. I feel as though that is the number one part to good customer service, being transparent with your guest so they don't feel ripped off. Had i known it would have costed extra I would have just eaten my pizza the way it came. I have worked in the restaurant industry for almost 10 years, and while I can understand mistakes that are made when it is busy I don't think that there were any excuses for the customer service we recieved on our visit this past Sunday.
TLDR Food was good (hence the 3 stars) but the service was...
Read moreWe went here because Earls was packed with a lineup and as soon as we walked in it was relatively empty and there was smoke in the dinning area, they said it was because they got steaks on the grill but I think it was because they forgot to open a vent and started burning them. I placed my order and forgot to order it baked with cheese, I asked if it was possible to just add the cheese to it and she said no, she'd have to charge me for two plates, she said, it's still good and that the garlic cheese toast at least tastes great. That surprised me but what surprised me more was that when she came back and asked how it was, I must like it cause I was almost done. I replied that it was cold to barely warm at best and I didn't like it, I'm merely hungry from a long day at work. The only response was oh, okay...then she walked away! My grilled chicken tasted like well done steak, cold noodles with warm sauce and the garlic cheese toast was more like cold bread put in the heat lamp long enough to melt the small bit of cheese. The steak meal was very small and not hot either, the best part was the fountain pop. To end the experience there was no offer for desert just, one bill or two. Someone else came to collect the payment and asked how we enjoyed our meal and we said we didn't and we at least got a oh I'm sorry to hear that. Won't be going back to this...
Read moreEverything was great but I did feel like when we ordered that we were CONSTANTLY being up charged on everything… when my kids ordered she kept asking if they wanted something else and how many, etc etc. kids will just say yes to what they are offered… a burger that should cost $23 becomes $30… $1.99 for 1 piece of bacon…. 🤯 I really wish that when something is offered that is an upcharge it is mentioned that it costs extra. Not just would you like cheese on your toast or regular garlic toast. I don’t usually complain but she was up charging us like crazy without saying that it costs more. I used to work at Boston Pizza and if I hadn’t known about the up charges we would have just said yes to everything not knowing that the yes means more money (I understand that everything costs money but my kid was asked for a burger with cheese and meat only then she asked if he wanted bacon.. is the bacon included on the burger and she is just asking if he wanted it or not or does it cost more…. We don’t know because she never mentioned that it costed extra) …. It ruined the experience in my opinion. And her response when I called her out on the constant upcharging with my kids was that the management is pushing them to do it. That sucks as a waitress/waiter to have to feel pressured to do that.. too bad that’s the mentally at...
