First of all, I have to say the organ meat stew with egg noodle was really good, BUT it was not enough soup (I asked if I can just get a bit more soup, the server declined and said “this is how it’s made, we cannot give more soup.” Hmm ok..) Secondly, I’m not even gonna mention about how small the portion was, because after I finished it, I ordered another Crab soup with vermicelli. My husband said we can share because his not full either (my husband had a Sate beef.) At this point everything was great, until we got the Crab soup with vermicelli.. Sigh.. I’ve never been so disappointed with a bowl of noodles before.. On the menu it clearly says Crab soup with “ VERMICELLI” We know what Vermicelli looks like.. I worked at a Vietnamese restaurant before, and we love noodles, we eat it almost everyday, so we’re pretty confident of telling the difference between them. What we got it’s round/thick rice noodle, it’s NOT vermicelli noodle! I kindly tell the server that’s not the noodle we ordered, she seems like she doesn’t know what going on.. and went back to the kitchen talked to the chef then came back and said “ this is what it is, that’s the vermicelli, that’s how we make it.” Hmm well that’s weird… other Vietnamese restaurants doesn’t make it like that.. Then my husband asked if we can change the noodle, at first she said yes.. then she spoke with the chef or the owner, came back and said “No, we cannot change the noodle, it’s just like that, we use thick noodles on this order, It’s the translation on the menu that’s wrong. If you want to change it, it will be an extra charge.” The translation is wrong?! Your owner doesn’t know that?! How can you put a wrong translation on the menu, to mislead customers?! I said “ Your menu clearly printed VERMICELLI, I just want to get what we ordered, if that’s not possible then I would like to cancel it.” The server goes back to the kitchen again, spoke with the chef or the owner, then came and said “They cannot change OR cancel the order, this is how it’s made, and it’s on the bill already.” At this point, my husband and I already had enough! This is the most ridiculous thing we’ve ever heard! Cannot change OR cancel an order that was wrongly made?! And the server made it very clear that it wasn’t her fault, she was told by first she said chef then she said owner or manager! Well, we made it very clear to her that we’re not paying for this wrongly made order! Then she goes back to the kitchen again, came back and said the owner removed the item on the bill. Honestly, I truly understand how it feels to be a server, and it is not her fault, she just doing her job, just doing what she’s been told, I feel bad for the her, because she the only person working, and there was at least 8 tables full, she had to do everything.. Throughout this whole time, the owner or manager did not even come out to ask or see what’s going on. This is very bad and...

UPDATE NOV 30 PER OWNERS REPLY. THEY ARE LYING THAT THEY NEVER YELLED. AND THEY SAID THEY WILL NOT RECTIFY ANYTHING UNTIL WE TAKE DOSN OUR REVIEWS. Just goes to show they really don't do ANYTHING, give excuses AND LIE "in their responses to the situation" MANY OF US WERE AFFECTED NOT JUST ONE. BUT ALL OF US. FIX YOUR ATTITUDE OR DONT BE IN BUSINESS SERVING OTHERS.

Original review: IF I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW I WOULD. DO NOT GO TO HERE. THE OWNER AND EMPLOYEES WILL DO NOTHING BUT GIVE EXCUSES AND EVEN YELL AT YOU FOR THE MISTAKE THEY DID. THEY DONT CARE WHAT THEIR FOOD AND MISTAKES DO TO YOU.

We specifically called to make sure the sandwiches were NON spicy as well all had a health restriction preventing us from eating spicy foods. My young niece even got so red after taking a bite of the bun without jalepenos. When we received the buns, ALL of them were spicy, with jalapeños all over them. These buns were still spicy despite removing the jalapeños. We then called the restaurant multiple times (more than 5) offering to return the sandwiches and requested a refund. Instead, the employees just hung up each time and said no refund would be made even with all sandwiches returned. It was not until the next day, Nov 29, did we finally get through with the owner but got nowhere. This owner even yelled at us and said "how dare you threaten me with disputing the bank." We clarified that we informed them NOT threatened, that if there will be no solution we would dispute the charge as their were no efforts to resolve the transaction. The owner again resorted to yelling and just hung up. We have pictured of all the sandwiches and a recording of how our call was handled. There were multiple other google reviews reporting similar experiences with this restaurant with no...

The food was pretty good but the service was not what we expected at a restaurant. We have never been at a restaurant where the waiter told us to wait halfway through ordering food to seat 2 new customers that walked in. I am sure they could have waited to be seated until we finished ordering. When the food came (which took some time), the bean sprouts came back raw when we specifically asked for cooked for our 2 little kids. I told the waitress we asked for cook and she said it was already cooked but brought it back in to cook it again. Unfortunately the bean sprouts still came out the second time pretty raw (we always ask for cooked bean sprouts and never had a problem anywhere else). Throughout the whole meal, noone came to pick up empty plates until we asked for the bill. The restaurant wasn't even that busy! What came next did it for me and I was adamant to write this review. When we asked for the bill, the waiter came by and dropped off a small basket that had the bill, some candies and the machine then walked off. No thank you, no asking us how the meal was, he literally just dropped off the already black screened machine on our table. Never had that happen before! Even when we left no one at the restaurant cared to say anything to us. We definitely won't be...

I look forward to seeing how this place gets better as it settles into a rhythm. So far it's good; I think it's got potential to be a great local spot. Food is a mostly Vietnamese with other Asian influences, like the bulgogi on vermicelli. I ordered the saté beef vermicelli bowl, specifying a shrimp allergy. The server came back to check about peanuts (which are fine). I received a generous amount of beef, crunchy peanuts, tasty picked carrots, and the house made noodle sauce was delicious. Very happy with this meal. Hubby ordered beef and skirt flank pho. He said it was good. My only complaint is the water - it tasted faintly lemony and strangely bitter. I look forward to trying their bubble tea or the fried bananas with ice cream. The dining room is lovely. Service was attentive and quick (only three tables full that night). Reasonable prices too.
