An Exceptional Dining Experience at Earls, Thanks to our server Adam!
I recently dined at Earls, and I must say, the entire experience was elevated thanks to the exceptional service provided by Adam. From the moment we walked through the doors, their warm and genuine demeanor set the tone for what would be one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I’ve ever had.
First and foremost, Adam greeted us with a welcoming smile and a genuine enthusiasm that instantly made us feel comfortable. They escorted us to our table and took the time to introduce themselves, which was a personal touch I deeply appreciated. It wasn’t just a routine greeting—it felt sincere and heartfelt, something you don’t always find in busy restaurants.
When it came to the menu, Adam was incredibly knowledgeable and provided thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. I mentioned that I was torn between a few dishes, and they took the time to describe each option in detail, highlighting their personal favorites and explaining what made each dish special. Their descriptions were so vivid that I felt like I could taste the food before it even arrived!
Not only were they well-versed in the menu, but they also had excellent knowledge of the drink list. They recommended a cocktail that paired perfectly with my meal, and it was clear they had a deep understanding of the flavors and ingredients involved. This level of expertise made me feel like I was in great hands.
Throughout the evening, Adam struck the perfect balance of attentiveness. They checked in on us regularly to ensure everything was to our satisfaction, but they were never intrusive. Our water glasses were always full, empty plates were cleared quickly, and every detail of our experience was attended to with care.
One moment that truly stood out was when I mentioned it was a special occasion.Adam went above and beyond by surprising us with a dessert and a handwritten note wishing us well. It was such a thoughtful gesture and completely unexpected—it made the night feel even more special.
Another impressive aspect of their service was how they handled a small hiccup with our order. One of the dishes we ordered was slightly delayed due to a kitchen issue, but Adam informed us immediately, apologized sincerely, and even offered to bring out a complimentary appetizer while we waited. Their proactive approach and genuine concern for our experience turned what could have been a negative moment into a positive one.
The food at Earls was fantastic, as always, but it was Adam who made the evening truly unforgettable. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail left a lasting impression. It’s rare to find someone who is so passionate about their work and committed to creating a memorable experience for their guests.
If you’re planning a visit to Earls, I highly recommend requesting Adam if possible. They are the epitome of excellent service and an absolute asset to the restaurant. Thank you, Adam, for making our night so special. I will absolutely be returning to Earls and hope to have the pleasure of being in your section again.
This was, hands down, one of the best dining experiences I’ve had, and it’s all thanks to the incredible service. Five stars aren’t enough to convey how grateful I am for the effort and care Adam put into making our evening...
Read moreI love earls, especially their Happy Hour time. But this time when I was there, I didn't expect 1 thing to happen after another. When I got seated with menus, I was looking through the HH menu and when the server came to take my order (Makenna). I specifically pointed my orders from the HH section. I ordered a lager beer for $5. she asked me if i wanted a pint. Again i pointed at $5. 12oz. and she said yes that is the pint so i said sure! I then ordered a shrimp taco for $5. My ordered came out pretty fast. When another server dropped off the taco. I was surprised there was 3 pieces. And she said yes they come in 3's.. So i started eating while looking at my phone. That's when i realized that the time was only 2:06pm and it hit me. Did I order this at 2pm? Which was the HH between 2pm-5pm. I waved my server down and asked her, she told me I ordered it before that, which was prolly 10mins before 2pm. If I knew, I could of waited till 2pm to order. I was quite disappointed cuz i thought as a server's job. if you see your customers ordering at the HH section, that she would of said something and knowing that there's only 10mins left She said she will get her manager to see if they can correct it. She returned and said they were able to honor the HH prices. Which I AM THANKFUL. I said Thank you to my server.
I sat alittle longer and ordered another drink from the HH. A sangria. Again i pointed at the $5. She was about to walk away and turned back and asked me if I wanted 5oz or 7oz? I thought.. umm 7oz?? then i remembered.. the menu did not show that option. checking the menu again. I said NO , its the $5 one that I want. When the time came to close my tab, Of course i was billed for exactly what I ordered. With 2 additional shrimp taco for $15, which i only wanted to pay $5 and the $8 -18oz pint which i didn't order. I am a student and working part time. I know the difficulty of being a server and i know what I ate. so Ill pay for it. Sure.. I felt like I gotten taken advantage of because of lack of experience in her department.
Before paying I talked to Makenna about my experience that I wasn't happy about it. She answered that everyone points from the HH regardless if it's HHt time.
MY THOUGHTS: It doesn't matter if they do or not. She knows the time of when HH starts. Its call CUSTOMER SERVICE AND YOU SHOULD KNOW WHAT EARL SERVES AT CERTAIN TIME. Why would I pay full price for something that is gonna be cheaper in 10mins?????????????????
I understand that she trying to upsell by throwing in the bigger oz options for drinks. But it was done wrong at the wrong...

Recent evening meal was an utter disappointment for virtually all aspects of both front of house and the kitchen.
Food: Calamari - Oil tasted old and burnt. Breading had no taste or seasoning and poorly adhered with many small bits falling onto the plate. Choice of squid led to thick cuts which gave an almost chewy consistency. Stale beets or radishes as garnish added nothing to presentation nor edibility. Portion size bordering on fraudulent for a $20 appetizer and where exactly is the yuzu as per the name yuzu calamari?
Cajun Blackened Chicken – chicken was dry and tough. Skin was the only part with flavor but was excessively salted and even after accounting for the “blackened” name of the dish, was closer to burnt. Size of the chicken breasts is a blatant rip-off even if ignoring the increased menu price. Clam chowder side palatable but salty.
Drink – asked server if there were bellinis, was explicitly told no. Found bellini on drink menu (not the happy hour one) when looking at second round choices. Was offered a strawberry guava slush. Received a toddler-sized thimble of shaved ice from a home refrigerator ice maker that had maybe a quarter oz of alcohol in it than anything that should come from a bar charging $13.25. If the calamari was only bordering on fraud, this flavoured tepid water certainly would fit the definition.
Front of house – Host adequate but not sure why they needed to take my phone number when I am going to the bar and already being led to the table. The table server – Hunter P (as per receipt) – showed up only to drop off the menus and to take my money – no checking in to see if the food was edible, no refilling of water carafe, spent most of the night spaced out leaning against the cash register at the bar and staring off into the parking lot or into space.
Bathroom floors were dirty and sticky.
And I am still hungry after spending $66.
They should have spent the downtime during renovations to train staff and cooks then maybe it would have justified the...
