Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Calgary

i am actually so flabbergasted by this lady who came up to me and gave me the meanest attitude ever. I understand where she was coming from with not eating stuff from other stores. i was understanding but she did NOT have to talk to me like that. have some respect as i was just minding. my own business. She told me “uhm if your not gonna order then leave. because we can’t have you eating stuff.. from “other” stores!”. It was a hot day! i wanted to just go inside somewhere to eat and stay from the sun. I was actually gonna buy a blizzard after my meal but i guess i got kicked out before i got to do it. don’t worry i cooperated and didint cause a scene, but teach that lady some manners especially to younger people as i did absolutely nothing. not the mention i saw her eyeing me down and irritated before she spoke up to me. like...

Today March 03, 2021 we purchased our order from this location. We are usual customers of this location as well. Although, we are also struggling to survive with the economy, we try our best to support our community, try to save someone's job. When we start eating, immediately I noticed the onion rings were fried more than once. And the taste was very disgusting and I was almost vomiting. It had a very bad taste.I tried to talk to the manager. They said he was not available at the time. We had a bad experience before, but excused for that knowing the employee was new. Please do not practice these unethical behaviours, specially when you are in food industry and you have loyal customers. We are done with this location. Be aware they sell left overs, (cooked again). Hey it's DQ, you know the hot and cold of it. I was upset about the guy leaving not caring about walking into me nor the social distance thing. I was quickly turned around by the greatings of the lady behind the counter. Almost at a yell through the plexiglass and mask came across as pleasant and I could hear! So many places I can't hear. The food wasn't ready to go and we had to wait. Getting upset it is taking some time, but the milkshakes were cold and tasty while the hot was ALL freshly hot. Not the reheated hot that gets cold quick! Worth the couple minutes wait... The Lady behind the counter continued with the voice I could hear and make out. As a DQ, this experience was great.
