I phoned the cafe this afternoon to confirm that they had vegan cupcakes in stock after seeing on their website that they accommodate allergies and offer vegan, GF and dairy free baked goods. I was assured by the person that answered that they do have vegan free cupcakes available and that I can walk in and purchase as many as I need.

Not 2 hrs later, I walked and mentioned that I had phoned earlier about vegan cupcakes and if I could see them. The response from the clerk was ā€œwe don’t have any vegan cupcakes, we only have thisā€ and pointed to a saran wrapped chocolate MUFFIN with a few slices of banana on top (definitely a far cry from a cupcake if you ask me). I then explained that I spoke to a male on the phone earlier and was assured that there was an ample amount of cupcakes available.

Another clerk came over, looked and me then display case and said ā€œall we have are theseā€ I take a look and they all that was available were some macarons, a flat cupcake with some chocolate shavings sprinkled on top with a sign saying GF and Dairy Free and some other baked goods that clearly weren’t anything close to being a cupcake.

I received no apologizes, just blank stares in return. You would assume in this economical downturn that the last thing a business would do is mislead customers and provide horrible customer service.

I forgot to mention that the cupcakes were for my 3 year old niece who has severe food allergies. She’ll now have to watch everyone else enjoy their desserts as there will nothing for her because I am now late for our dinner reservations and left with no time to try to find another bakery.

This will be the first and absolute last time I will ever step foot into this establishment. I will definitely be sharing my experience when being asked for a recommendation on good...

Euphoria USED TO be a great little cafe with a cool atmosphere and the best chai tea latte I child find in Calgary. A year or two ago I would have rated it a 5. Unfortunately, since it has changed locations, it has massively gone downhill.

Since they moved, it seems to me that the staff have changed. There used to consistently be the same staff. They were friendly and offered good and timely customer service. The drinks were good especially the chai, and they offered a decent selection of food options for various diets. Since they changed locations, most of the staff are lazy and rude. People are often waiting a long time for drinks when when it appears that the staff are not busy or there are employees standing around. Also the quality of their chai tea lattes seems to have gone down. It had way less flavour than the ones I used to get there. The last time I was there, they informed us at 7:45 that they had changed their hours and were now closing at 8. At 8:02, an employee came and sternly (almost aggressively) told us we needed to leave. Since we were already clearly finishing up and getting ready to leave, I don't understand why they felt the need to talk to us this way just two minutes after closing time. I wonder if management is aware of the poor customer service their staff are providing. Due to their reduced hours and poor customer service, we hustled out of there and headed to the Starbucks in indigo, just across Crowchild. We received excellent service there, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Due to the increasing number of issues i have encountered at Euphoria, I do not plan to return. I hope the owners are able to make the necessary adjustments to make Euphoria what...

They always have good treats on display. I’ve been coming to this coffee shop for a year now and I’ve been pretty happy every single time.

I like their latte - I ask for it in kids temperature. It’s not over done, it’s just a delightful morning hug in a cup.

But my go to will always be iced americano.

ALSO, I like that their egg and cheddar can be with beef sausage (I don’t eat pork).

My partner and I come here every now and then. The seating is as it is, places to sit. No bells and whistles.

The Owner should really be proud of being able to select staff that share the same vibe of being cool, chill under pressure, genuinely nice people.. I’ve just been to so many places that felt like ā€œyeah, I paid for that nicety.ā€ The folks here are not forced to treat you well, they are all meek and affable. All is a stretch but the ones I’ve met for sure are.

Love love love it here :)

I must say, that this cafĆ© also hosts local vendors from time to time. Today it was Bowness Soapworks. Lovely people. It’s not at all intrusive to the cafĆ©, rather a great addition to the space. Inviting local pop ups to advertise their company. I think that’s a great initiative to stimulate and support local. In the winter there were plants lol!!! I...

Update: After the owner replied that their smoothies are made from Smartfruit purĆ©es (a US product), I wanted to clarify that this is a pre-bottled fruit and vegetable concentrate, similar to brands like Bolthouse Farms. The smoothie was beige and didn’t resemble the menu photo or taste like the listed ingredients. It would be helpful if the menu mentioned that the ingredients come from a bottled fruit-juice blend mixed with milk and ice. The staff were kind and helpful, but the smoothie just wasn’t what I expected and was much sweeter than I’d hoped. Original: I’ve enjoyed Euphoria CafĆ© over the years, but was disappointed with the green smoothie today. It tasted mostly of banana and very sweet juice rather than the listed ingredients. Staff explained it’s made with bottled green juice, not whole fruit and vegetables, which surprised me since I’ve always thought of Euphoria as a healthy spot. They kindly offered to make something else, but I’d gone specifically for a true fruit and veggie smoothie. It would help if the menu clarified that smoothies are made with juice rather than whole produce.

I filled the price on the expensive side for macaroons and Natas (especially that they are brought in frozen). Being from Montreal, I understand there are more Brazilians over here so obviously fresher options for Natas. I was trying to get inspired at the cash to purchase some pastries for a meeting that I was attending. I wanted to bring my guests some fresh pastries, and it felt slightly awkward at the cash conversing with the cashier. Firstly, the parking situation is weird. I’m still confused whether it’s free or you need to register. I was simply going in and out with my order and felt really confused whether I should register the car or not. The two boxes that you see from the pictures ended up costing over $60, woah! I didn’t have any myself, but I hope my meeting attendees enjoyed them.

I love this CafƩ. Today the Colombian coffee tasted different. It was off. I let others taste my coffee and they agreed. They thought it was expired coffee. Nevertheless I will try again in a few days to see if there are any changes. I also bought a delicious PiƱa Colada muffin and an Almond croissant. I spotted this Good haven bread looks and taste amazing. Great for sandwiches. The only suggestion is please put information on the package such as ingredients and how many calories per slice. I will keep everyone posted on my next visit to Euphoria:). UPDATE: Stoped by for a Colombian coffee and this time they gave me the right coffee. I am highly recommending Euphoria Cafe. Please come check them out. We have been coming to euphoria since they first opened their doors five plus years ago.
