I bet the food here would have been great, it smelled amazing. Unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to try it. On their take out menu, samosas are $1 (which is an awesome price). We didn't realize we could dine in when we had originally gotten to the restaurant and placed our order. Once we were told we could sit down to eat, we were pretty happy. We ordered butter chicken, rice, naan bread and samosas for 3 people-it came to $51. I was willing to pay that price to try the food. However once we were seated the waiter approached us and told us that each samosa was now going to be $2.50 instead of $1, because we were dining in. I didn't understand the logic in this at all. When I tried questioning the waiter (who was actually really nice), he brought over the manager, who gave me some garbage reasoning that it was because we were dining in that it cost more. I asked her to bring the samosas in take out containers. I didn't understand her logic whatsoever. Because we had decided to dine in, they probably would have made more money off us via drinks/alcohol/tip. If they hadn't been cheap and tried to jip us for extra money, we would have stayed. Instead we went down the street and had the exact same thing for literally half the price. Sorry to say but I don't agree with running a business that way. Good luck. Your prices are out to lunch in an area like forest lawn where there are a million different places that serve...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Brar Restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming ambiance. The variety of dishes offered here is simply mind-blowing.
I started with their Non-vegetarian Thali, which was a delightful spread of flavors. The butter chicken, yellow daal, and naan were particularly outstanding. The Golgappa Shots were a fun and refreshing way to kick off the meal, and the Bhalla Papdi Chaat left me craving for more with its perfect balance of crunch and tanginess.
The Mango Lassi was the perfect cooling drink on a hot day, and the Reshmi Kebab Sizzler was a feast for the senses with its succulent kebabs and tantalizing aroma. The Panneer Butter Masala and Goan Fish Curry were bursting with authentic flavors, transporting me to culinary heaven.
To end on a sweet note, I couldn't resist trying their Rabri Kulfi Special Dessert, which was a divine treat adorned with delicate rose petals.
Overall, Brar Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The food, the service, and the ambiance all come together to create an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to visit again soon!

The ambience of the restaurant was elegant yet comfortable, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed, enjoyable meal. A special mention must go to the owner, Mr. Bhagwant Brar, who was incredibly generous and attentive. He made sure our dining experience was memorable, even going so far as to personally serve us some delicious complementary dishes, including chaat papdi, golgappa, and fish. The tandoori chicken, which was tender and perfectly cooked, stood out as the highlight of the meal.
