Update - I got a response from Burger king corporate via email and a personal phone call from the district manager and offered a genuine apology for the mishap. A very caring attitude was delivered today when I went to the restaurant. Shows they do want to correct the mistake that happened earlier. Thank you.
Ordered an Impossible Whopper with no tomatoes, extra pickles, no mayo and with stacker sauce. They charged me 6.29 initially and handed me the normal regular Whopper. I immediately told them they made a mistake by giving me the the regular Whopper with meat when I requested the impossible Whopper. The employee then calls the manager who says it's an extra 4$, I said that's fine and go ahead and pay them and get my meal. When I open the sandwich it is a regular Whopper with all the ingredients and again did not follow my instructions. So it had the tomatoes, the mayo and no stacker sauce. I go back again to let the manager know what he had done.
The manager's name was Justin, he took my sandwich and did Not apologize for the mistake. And gives me another sandwich and again made the mistake of not putting the cheese in it when requested. I called for the manager again. He refused to show up and was very rude about this whole confusion. So I ask the employee Gurpreet who was working there to get the manager's full name. Gurpreet after some back and forth between me and the manager's request finally comes back and says he refuses to tell me his full name. My issue here was the after the three times my sandwich went through preparation it still was not prepared according to the instructions and the manager's attitude which was rude and perplexing where he does not want to come forth for an apology, instead he wanted the ne of the employee (which I didn't know) who previously gave me the impossible Whopper for 6.29.
I will be complaining this to the corporate about Justin the manager's incompetence to come forth and defuse the situation and being rude to the customer for the way he acted. I took a video of this whole incident and will be presenting to the corporate.
I will be updating my review based on what coporate...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience. Received notification on my cellphone today(Wednesday)March 09 2022 about Whopper Wednesday. Stated medium combo $5.99, large combo $6.99 and a la carte $3.99. You order at the counter and they tell you something different pricewise. When k got back home I opened the app and clicked on "order" and sure enough the above stated prices are displayed and pickup address confirmed. Called to complain and was given a royal runaround by management on 2 levels trying to justify not honoring the offer including wanting to know if I was looking at their app (had stated to her already that it was for a Whopper hamburger). Told her not to insult my intelligence. Had to ask 3 times for the name of her supervisor because she kept on stonewalling me my saying she was the manager. (She was managersuperior that location). She finally gave me the phone number only(no name) of her superior and this was round 2 of runarounds. She twice tried to tell me that this was for Wednesday, insisting that it was Thursday. After she realized I wouldn't buy that B.S. she admitted it. Then she tries a multitude of excuses including that that was an Alberta deal and franchisees could adjust their prices if they choose. I have submitted complaints to Burger King customer service and am to get a response from them in 3-5 business days. If anyone else is experiencing similar problems, I urge you to file a complaint with customer service and if not satisfactorily resolved then maybe we should consider contacting CBC...
Read moreAmong a completely messed up order, I received chicken fries that were so hard I had a hard time breaking them in half even with my fingers. They were so old that the chicken Inside was as brown as the outside of them, and not just looked like they were hours and hours old, but possibly days. I ordered them, drove home (20 mins ish), discovered they were rock solid, among the other problems with my order, and decided to drive back to get chicken fries that were actually edible. Well, upon arriving I was greeted by the same gentlemen, as well as another fellow who questioned me having them for an hour. I took out a piece and crumbled it like dust in front of them. Hesitant, they made me a new batch and a new burger. Upon handing me the new order, the man insisted again that their chicken fries are only "good" for half hour. I told him he should have thrown them out many half hours before serving them to me, they shouldn't turn to dust just in the amount of time it takes to drive home from a drive thru, and I've let chicken fries sit out many a time with never having even close to the same issue. I handed him a piece this time to see for himself just how hard they were, and he still didn't care. He asked for the rest of the box back, and I informed him I would be keeping them to show his manager. These people are not in any way fit to be handling and serving food, if this is what they deem to be acceptable to serve. After seeing the rest of the reviews here, I'm surprised this location is still...
