My family loves Mexican food. Probably so was we have Hispanic heritage. So we rather enjoyed trying the food here. We thought it tasted really good. I didn't think it was amazing. But four stars to me is amazing I'll still go any place it's got three to four stars. My reviews are going to be changing for 5-stars means you really have something incredible. I think from an Ambiance point of view these guys get five stars from a customer service point of view these guys get five stars I'm a presentation point of view 5 stars from a portions point of view four stars. I wouldn't get the beef again because it's mostly liquid not a lot of meat and this is coming directly from a child! however I had to say the rest of the dishes were more than feeling those burritos were massive. Smothering burritos with sauce like enchiladas is definitely a different twist. got it with a fork and knife unlike other burrito places we can actually pick it up slap in your mouth like street food that's going out the window here. You have to offer what it is which is fork and knife sloppy messy saucy bye-bye crispy. Pricing let's get to it right off the bat if you're going to be paying a little bit more money. But it's worth it if the ingredients are fresh and the place is presentable. They got a five out of five on that one. The Mexican hot sauce was a nice addition because it's different. It's on bottles everywhere. It's how you been nagar based and you can really taste it. Kind of runny not my forte I like a figure page to your hot sauce myself but it's nice that the offer it open me versus a lot of mucho burrito franchise owners who seem to want to hide it behind the counter to save on costs. Yeah we got you we know why you're doing it and it's frowned upon don't do that. Thumbs-up Costa Vida. Let's talk about the hot sauce a little more though why not have more choices I mean we didn't find it. Hot and I don't particularly like drinking vinegar. If this is traditional Mexican hot sauce is probably why it's not talked about much in the Latin American world. It's a real matter of taste and if they're proud of it well good for you but there are way better tasting hot sauces in the Latin American world. I like the fact that the offer three being choices refried pinto and black beans. Pretty cool to experience. Guacamole huge huge huge advantage game changer super awesome tasting when it's done right. More importantly when it's served at the right temperature. These guys nailed it guacamole was really really good. I'll give it 4 stars because I would have liked to have a larger portion. But I can totally understand what the cause of guacamole why they give the amount he did so it was a good portion but still I'd like a little more. Cleanliness is not a factor at least at this location not sure about the rest of the franchises but I was up in the Northwest in the upscale community of Royal oak. Would I go back 100% I would!

We came here as consolation for missing our honeymoon in Mexico. Upon walking through he doors, the place was warm and humid and the staff were really welcoming. The water wall adds to the atmosphere as well and we could imagine ourselves at the beach. The menu offered many different options and the lunch menu came with a drink to add to your meal. The portion for lunch is smaller than the usual entree level but is the perfect size for those that don't tend to eat as much for lunch. They have different speciality drinks that can satisfy those that prefer juice rather than a fountain drink - tasting fresh with fruit flavours or even their creamy horchata (not too cinnamon-y and not too sweet). There is an app tied to Costa Vida that allows you to scan your receipt for points to redeem later. Staff will even walk by to ensure you're enjoying your food as well and chdck in on you :)

Stopped in here for lunch. Lived in the area for years and have never gone. The staff was very friendly and greeted us when we entered. Ordering process was very easy and they make the tortilla in house! I got the chicken burrito and it was massive. I would have preferred more chicken. I think next time I will order extra chicken. There is just so much rice and beans the ratio needs to be upped for the meat. The tortilla was so soft and the burrito was smothered in cheese and sauce. Pretty much enchilada style. After eating it I was very full and satisfied. The drinks are self served and I had their signature horchata. It was delicious. It really went well with my meal. The kids loved their kids meal. It came loaded with a meal, drink and a cinnamon torilla for a light dessert. I would definitely come back here again. Only thing I would change is get extra meat.

We came here tonight for supper. I placed an order on the app right before we walked into the restaurant. Less pressure as we can look at the menu as long as we want haha. We were greeted as soon as we walked into the restaurant. I let them know I did an online order and they checked for it and said it would be about 5 minutes. I went and asked my husband and brother which drinks they’d like and came back to order them. It seems like a small detail, but the cashier remembered my name and asked what she could get for me. Our food was delivered to our table promptly. We have gotten Costa Vida delivered or for take out many times, but we decided to eat in this time. I chose to write a review mostly because the staff were so lovely here!! Everyone we talked with was so friendly and attentive. They even thanked us and said goodbye when we left too. It’s those little things that make a difference, so kudos to the team tonight. Also! Ha. We all ordered enchiladas, our go-to, and the reason we crave Costa Vida. No pics but food was yummy, portions were great, sauce amount was also good! Our fave is the medium green sauce. I appreciate I can get gluten-friendly corn tortillas here too. Oh and there are high chairs! Thanks everyone at...

I’ve been coming to costa vida on a consistent basis since high school. For some context, I’m 24 now. So I’ve been out of high school for a HOT MINUTE. I’ve been a loyal customer here for YEARS. And I can say this with full confidence, the quality of your food is really dependant on the employee that makes it for you. THEIR FOOD IS AMAZING, if you get lucky. If the manager is working, FORGET ABOUT IT you’re getting one pinto bean and a single piece of chicken in your salad. For some reason he likes to cheap out. He’s stingy with the ingredients. I get that we’re going through an inflation right now. But are you REALLY gonna skimp out on some lettuce? The cheapest ingredient? You can tell which employees simp for the manager too, cause they’re just as cheap as him. Some of the employees DESERVE A RAISE, they make that food with LOVE. You can tell they want you to enjoy your meal and get your bang for your buck. When I see them working (& you know who you are) it makes my day, cause I know I’m about to have the best meal ever. Overall, their food is BANGING. 4 stars for the good food, 1 star taken off for the lack of...
