Haven't been to a Denny's in a while (since long ago during my childhood) but recently decided to go with a lovely girl for a evening date. With context out of the way, this might just be one of the best Denny's that I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. Was a quiet and homey environment despite still having quite a few groups dining inside. The atmosphere felt very calm and welcoming, especially with the nice floors and furniture. Sadly I did not catch the name of the waitress who served us but we both thought she was a lovely woman. Dark chin-length hair and I believe a nose piercing. Wonderful server and lovely to have a conversation with! She has our regards. In terms of the food, I personally had the sirloin steak with a choice of the mashed potatoes and Mac'n'Cheese for sides. I got the steak rare and it was definitely one of the better steaks that I have had. Perfect amount of seasoning, red on the inside, and yet still tender and juicy. The mashed potatoes came with gravy and were fresh, warm, well seasoned and delicious. The mac had a layer of baked cheese on top and tasted absolutely great, not too salty/cheesy but definitely the right amount. My lovely lady had the cinnamon roll pancakes slam with a side of scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. She also requested to get a combination of the choice of two sausages or two bacon strips (one of each) and our server was quite accommodating to her request! Overall, a wonderful meal to start our date and we are both quite happy with our experience. We also paid less than I would have expected so a pleasant surprise as well! I highly recommend this location, lovely staff, great atmosphere, and wonderful food....
Read moreThe Sunday dining experience was exceptional. The staff did very well to handle a large number of customers with relatives working in the service sector, I understand how busy things may get the staff were conscious of the services that they were providing also paying great attention to how it affected them. They are beautiful people trying to help families and loved ones connect over a meal on a Sunday morning. I can’t say nothing more than great respect for the people that work in these industries. There are good and bad days. However, it’s time to appreciate what people do for us whether they’re paid or unpaid. The staff were great. The service was exceptional and above and beyond everything else the people remained human. I can’t say anything else from this point on. The individuals need to be recognized for the work they do a job needs to be rewarded Whether busy or not these people keep these industries going. I know I could have a hard time serving all these people. Maybe take this time this year to respect and care for the people providing great customer service in the Service industries.
My barbecue chicken bacon burger turned out really well. My fries were well cooked. My coffee was well tended to and so is my glass of water. Other individuals in the party had a great experience with the eggs Benedict and the side items they had. They also thoroughly enjoyed their coffee...
Read moreHorrible take out experience tonight. Monday March 11th, at 8:30pm. The gentleman who had taken my order had no menu knowledge. I ordered a Cali Club Sandwich, and asked for NO sun-dried tomato mayo, the male sounded confused. I then said REGULAR MAYO instead. I very much emphasized and explained the difference in mayos and which I preferred for my order. He further said “No sauces”. Which I didn’t think twice on, as one who is taking my order should have the knowledge of the menu, and I trusted that he understood. I then go to oder the Bacon Cheddar Tots (6pcs) side. With a bit of hesitation, to be told it only comes in 10pcs. I then again explained that it is bacon and cheddar in tot form. And from there I am guessing again that he understood?
My order was never repeated nor was my total. I was expecting 24.55$, as I tried to place an online order previously. For the sandwich and bacon cheddar tots. I arrive to pick up my order and am being charged 26.32, which I think nothing of. I get home to discover, not only was I charged and given something I did not ask for (Desert Cake Balls). But to have a completely dry, no sauce, wilted sandwich.
If I could give no stars, I would. Disappointed, as one would not receive anywhere near this experience as a dine in customer. Unacceptable...
