EC Fusion & Lounge + Authentic Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine — Restaurant in Calgary

Birthday party of 10 on Saturday night and asked to preorder. We were only ones there but extremely slow service. Lamb selections weren't my taste but no menus offered to order alternatives like chicken/beef, rice or vegetables ... or even dessert! Had to ask for drink menu and only one provided to the whole group. The waitress only took 1 or 2 orders before leaving to fill the orders so everyone just drank water. I wanted a coffee but was told no milk or cream available so declined. 20 mins later, coffee shows up! "Bread" very disappointing as its cold. Most food served cold and the place was freezing. A hot drink would have been nice. Service extremely slow and waiting half hour in between 'courses' even though the food had been preordered! Very small portions and left hungry but $26...

I recently dined at EC Fusion & Lounge, hoping to enjoy some Authentic Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine. However, my experience was far from satisfactory.

Firstly, they completely messed up our order, serving us the wrong dish. When we brought this to the attention of the manager, instead of addressing the issue professionally, she dismissively claimed that what I received was what I ordered. Not only was this attitude from the manager appalling, but it also demonstrated a lack of concern for customer satisfaction.

The food itself was disappointing, and the customer service left much to be desired. Overall, I had a negative experience at EC Fusion & Lounge, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant...

Amazing. Going here for lunch is my favourite! The staff are friendly and treat you like a family friend. The food is CRAZY DELICIOUS! Usually split the veggie platter with my husband. It's spot on every time! It's the most inexpensive meal, great sharing experience, superb quality, and super quick. Only been here for lunch though, but I highly recommend it.
