First and last time I order from this place on Ubereats. It was close to $20 for a large pho, but I thought it would be worth it due to the high reviews on UberEATS. DO NOT BE FOOLED.

This entire order was $60, and half of it was a bag of bean sprouts. This honestly feels like a joke and I've never experienced this with any other Pho restaurant.

It’s quite the feat, just look at the size of that quarter meatball. But don’t worry, you get three of them in a large pho (if you pay $2 to upgrade).

But the most frustrating part is the small noodle portions. Why cheap out on noodles? Noodles cost pennies on the dollar, but here I am inconveniently cooking my own egg noodles because they provided 1/2 an inch of egg noodles in the smallest take out container they could find.

I'm at a loss for words to express my disappointment with this restaurant.

Stay away. UPDATE: Normally I wouldn’t waste my time doing an update, but the restaurant is doubling down on being cheap in their response, so here it is:

First, the egg noodles came standard with the beef stew, there was no upgrade requested, check your order notes. And let’s run using your logic, it’s “technically” not a FREE if you give a quarter of the portion. Secondly, listen to yourself nickle and dime NOODLES.

I don't care if it’s rice noodles or egg noodles, it’s literally one of the cheapest food items in the world. The portion shown in the picture is what? 10 cents? Would it kill your margins on an $18 pho to add a bit more so people don't have to cook their own food to supplement the small portions?

The order total with Uber eats fees, tax, and tip came to basically $60. I can post the receipt. But your point is fair, it was only $47.50 without taxes from the restaurant. But I would argue that even at $47.50, these are unacceptable portion sizes. Which is why this is disappointing, because you can’t see seem to understand why someone would be upset for receiving baby sized portions, when Pho is notorious for large portions. If this your normal sized portion (with Dine-in), then I can truly understand why there are so many other 1 star reviews saying the same thing.

I don’t particularly care that UberEATS is expensive, but I like the convenience. It’s just simply really inconvenient to have to cook my own noodles because you couldn’t be bothered to add (10 cents more?) worth of noodles. By the way, the salad rolls ARE in the pictures. They are in that tiny brown box.

I get it, UberEATS also takes a big cut from your revenues. But when you markup your items 30% to make up the revenues, don’t also reduce portions by 50%, and blame the customer. Would YOU be satisfied with this portion size?

At the end of the day, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves, and let others decide if that’s enough of a...

Based off my experience. There were alot of recommendations for their macaroni dish that came with beef, let me tell you it did not disappoint! My family and I ordered

#10 Phò Dăc Biêt XL SPECIAL Noodle World Beef Noodle Soup Phó

#22 Hú Tiéu Tuoi hoāc mì dăc Biét SPECIAL Egg noodle soup

#83 Nuôi Xào Bò Lúc Lác Fried Macaroni with Dice beef steak

#107 Chè Ba Màu Ice coconut with three kind of bean

My kids love Phò and grew up with it as we would always order or make at home. They have acquired the taste to a great bowl of Phò. They ordered the #10, and from a few restaurants that we been to this is by far is top 5. Broth was definitely flavorful that has authenticity in it. Aside from your basic ingredients it had my favorite tendons which are my favorite part of the soup. My kids, wife and I appreciated it and would recommend it especially their extra large bowl which is decently priced compared to a few that we went too. Highly recommend

My wife and I shared 2 new things that we wanted to try which were recommend and known for here which is #22 and #83. Starting off with the #22 soup, this also too had so much flavors in it which had more seafood items in it, personally Id recommend the egg noodle soup version as you can also order it with fresh fat noodle as another option. It reminded me of wonton soup with so much more flavors. My wife and I enjoyed it. Now for the #83 the mac and beef, it was just an experience that you have to try! Macaroni and beef were cooked perfectly and it tastes so delicious! My family and I shared this and this was the first to go! MUST TRY!!!! Seriously it's so good!!!!! Definitely ordering this again

My family and I alway get this drink/dessert Chè Ba Màu one of our favorite parts after we eat our meals. We've had many different variations and this one was the traditional way. Very creamy and rich in flavor as well. Highly recommend!!!!

Nothing was left on our plates we came here right before peek timing at 530pm on a Friday so we didn't have to wait. We enjoyed the food and great service.

My family and I have always loved vietnamese dishes as our best friends are vietnamese back were we grew up in and they alway took us to all the best places and now that we moved we had to find where the best vietnamese restaurants are to enjoy their delicious food!

My family would recommend this and would keep coming here. Thank you to the restaurant owner and employees for a great experience.

If you are looking for a spot to enjoy some great food make sure to check this place out. We took the time coming from the deep SE side of Calgary to check this place out. We don't mind driving to restaurants as long as...

WORST SERVICE EVER! DO NOT GO HERE! December 21, 2018 at around 2:00pm-3:00pm I would give this restaurant zero star if I could. I'd been wanting to try this place because of a picture I saw on Instagram so I suggested it to my parents and we went and WERE BEYOOOOOOND DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!

HERE IS MY FIRST GOOGLE REVIEW!

First of all, the SERVICE was the WORST my family and I have ever experienced. The two young "women" who were working that day (December 21,2018 at around 2-3:00pm) were rude and very unwelcoming, not helpful at all or won't even try to if you had questions. I really hope that those unpleasant facial expressions, you give to your customers, drive them away from you. You should be ashamed on how you treat customers, and if you cannot treat people properly in your field of work then find another one like maybe THE MORGUE! AT LEAST THERE, YOU CAN WEAR YOUR NASTY FACES AND AT LEAST THERE, CUSTOMERS WILL NOT ASK YOU FOR A METAL SPOON FOR YOU TO FROWN ABOUT! I do not mean to disrespect anyone, especially the people who have passed away and the people who work at morgues, but I mean to direct this to these two women as they so much deserve it

Second of all, OUR SERVER VACUUMED THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE THERE!!! Who wants to listen to a vacuum cleaner whilst eating? I mean do you guys have any common sense? People WERE eating with their FOOD ON THE TABLE WHILE ALL THE DUST COMING FROM YOUR VACUUM CLEANER IS GOING INTO THEIR FOOD, OUR FOOD!!! How can you not even consider that!?!? And not even one of the staff members tried or thought of stopping her, I guess it's just a normal occurrence at this ridiculous restaurant.

Last of all, the food was not even satisfactory – broth was bland VERY BLAND, the meat saved it a tiny bit, DUUUH. I cannot fathom the fact that this place gets so many good reviews. I was not going to comment on this as I thought that it may just be our experience and it may just be an odd day but after seeing the other reviews, a fair number of people have actually had the...

During my visit to Pho Dau Bo in Calgary, I had the pleasure of enjoying their Pho Tai and beef spring rolls, and it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. The restaurant offers a cozy, no-frills atmosphere, perfect for a comforting and authentic Vietnamese meal. The Pho Tai was absolutely delicious, with a broth that was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. You could tell it had been simmered with care, bringing out the deep umami of the spices and beef bones. The thinly sliced rare beef was tender and cooked beautifully in the hot broth. The fresh herbs, bean sprouts, lime, and chili added a wonderful variety of textures and flavors, allowing me to customize each bite. It was easily one of the best bowls of pho I’ve had. The beef spring rolls were equally impressive—crispy on the outside and packed with savory, well-seasoned filling on the inside. They were served hot and fresh, with a dipping sauce that complemented them perfectly. The rolls were the ideal appetizer, setting the stage for the hearty pho that followed. The service was friendly and efficient, and the staff made sure everything was just right. Despite the bustling environment, the food arrived quickly and was piping hot. It’s clear that Pho Dau Bo takes pride in delivering authentic Vietnamese cuisine with great attention to detail. If you’re looking for an incredible pho experience in Calgary, I highly recommend Pho Dau Bo. Their Pho Tai and beef spring rolls are a must-try, and I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in the city!
