Forno di Fontaine — Restaurant in Calgary

I went and got a pizza today- as I was standing there waiting the girl at the cash went back and forth between touching the cash and money, etc. and using her bare hands for the dough and then back to the till taking orders, back to dough, back to the till all while NOT WASHING HER HANDS AT ALL or SEEING ANYTHING WRONG WITH THIS. I said to her this was gross and that she should be washing her hands and only then did she go wash them. Disgusting and a total health and safety violation. You gotta wonder if this is happening right in front of a bunch of people what else is? Will not come...

Every Friday we can, we love to go to CFM West and treat the kids to pizza and pasta at Forno Di Fontaine. So, when our son’s birthday came around it was our top choice to grab some pizzas to feed the hungry bunch after a session at the climbing centre! A few emails back and forth, to decide flavours and timing and it was all taken care of. The kids loved the pizza and I loved that they were eating something with fresh ingredients and we were able to support a business we have loved since they opened. Thanks to Chef Scott...

Tried the pizza here and was disappointed after the proprietor talked up his ingredients so highly. I have to judge a pizza by its foundation - crust and sauce. The dough was not properly proofed and was dense and overly salted. The sauce tasted like the can the tomatoes came in and not much else. After reading some of the other reviews I thought we might give them another chance, but I don't want to feel like I wasted $20 again when my husband makes much better pizza at home in our wood...
