Ordered 2 boneless chicken bucket with fries for the kids, and a chicken rice ball for myself. After receiving our food (which took a long time to prepare), we’ve noticed that we got the bone in version of it. Mistakes happen, but when we asked the staff to fix their error, they started arguing that it was explained to us that a chicken and fries combo can only come in a bone in version (which was not true) and that they can’t take it back as a policy. After a few minutes of arguing, they asked for $12 to cover the gap of between the bone in and boneless versions, which did not make sense. After we requested for the calculation breakdown, they changes their ask to $2. I see a lot of good reviews here, maybe due to the free fries/hotdog promotion they offer, but I am wondering if we just landed on really bad crew that day. Anyway - will pick up something else next...

I didn’t know what I wanted for lunch today until I passed by this place inside the Calgary farmers market ! I got the Chee Bop ($12) and it was the best $12 I’ve spent on this trip so far.

The Chee Bop is a Korean Rice Bowl made with K-style crispy fried chicken, fried veggie dumplings, fresh vegetables all on cooked rice. I got the light level spiciness but should have gotten the next step up.

This bowl was AMAZINGLY delicious. Chicken interior was moist while exterior was flavourful. The dumpling were fried and crunchy, with a light interior. The flavours worked well together and you can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients.

I tried a Cupbop which includes your choice of meat and sauce with rice, fried eggs, veggie dumplings, lettuce and pickled carrots.

I couldn't decide so I chose the combo (allowing for 2 meat selections) and chose the sweet and savory grilled pork and Korean fried chicken.

Good value, not many places you can get dinner for $12! All the ingredients came together nicely but wish there was a bit more sauce as it got a bit dry...
