I was at the farmers market tried and tried this place. The person working there was so friendly and really knew his stuff. We ordered the Shakshuka and wrap. Both items were freshly made in front of us and the taste was incredible. The food was just so flavourful and tasted so fresh. Will definitely be back here again.
UPDATE: I absolutely loved this place but todays experience was very disappointing. Ordered the kabob platter which was almost $20 and I felt extremely ripped off! On the whole plate there was one kabob cut up into small pieces to make it look like more. There was about 2 tbsps of a basic salad, a portion of a pita again cut up to make it look like more and some sauce and some bland boiled rice. It was honestly bland and I felt so let down. I understand food is expensive, but other shawarma places are at least doing justice to what they are charging. I will never...
Read moreif you are hungry do not come here, I do not eat much, but the size of the shawarma was about 3 canapes, I understand that men's 9 inch seems enough🙈, but no, the shawarma is flat and small🥲, it is understandable why they did not put out the prepared food so that customers would not pass by seeing the size and cost for such a size, and you can forgive a lot when the price = quality, but besides that, the chicken was terribly terribly peppery-spicy, which is necessary to warn the client, especially if he refused the hot sauce that I was offered 3 times! Buy fresh chicken, and do not disguise spoiled products! I understand why the employee asked about the sauce 3 times after the first bite. This is one of the worst experiences in Calgary, despite the fact that the guy cook was very nice and pleasant to talk to, I will never recommend this place, they clearly need to change the boss...

From the moment I met him, I knew. I just… knew. The curls? Breathtaking. Like he wakes up each morning and an angel just tousles them into perfection. The smile? A serotonin injection. If I’m ever on life support, just show me a picture of Dennis smiling and I’ll sit up and ask for a latte. And the accent? Don’t even get me started. It’s subtle… just enough to make you lean in closer, like he’s telling you a secret only you get to hear. (Spoiler alert: I want to hear all of them.) He’s so friendly it’s concerning. Like—who raised him?? Why is he like this?? Why do I feel safe and giggly in his presence like a suburban mom on her third mimosa?
I don’t want to make it weird but… if you ever find yourself around Dennis, guard your heart. Or don’t. Honestly, just let him have it. He...
