Harvey's — Restaurant in Calgary

This was my first time at a Harvey's since I moved to Canada 15 years ago. It was a total disappointment. Let's start with the good things: The honey/mustard dip is very tasty.

That was the only good thing of the whole experience. We came in, the person taking our order could have not been anymore unenthusiastic. We order Chicken Nuggets, double angus with cheese, angus bruger with cheese and bacon and buffalo chicken sandwich. The nuggets were just absolutely terrible, small, flavourless and probably sitting under a heating lamp for a long time considering how dried out they were. The angus burgers were both very dry and flavourless. None of us could taste any of the toppings (onion, lettuce and tomatoes) or the sauces (garlic mayonnaise, ketchup and. mustard). The bacon apparently had the texture between a shoe sole and a card board box. And my friend thought that the buffalo chicken had dried out parts but also parts that seemed under cooked.

Got my order wrong. When I called I was told I can get refund on the wrong item later when ai stopped by. I wasnt going to drive back just because if it because of the price of the gas so I said okay Im going around later Ill stop by. This was online order I dont know why they get it wrong its written right there I paid extra for bacin n such and never got it. I was called back that to get refund ai have to bring the food back. Like yeah why not spend another round of gas to get back what I paid for. Anyway....check your orders before you leave the place some people cannot read aparently.

To the owners reply. Please dont say to fill out feedback I already did and you said that because I ate the food too bad too sad. It was you guys who said to come later so yes my husband started eatung the poutine and then you called back saying nothing can be done only olif I bring the food back. Harvey's is my favorite fast food place, my guilty pleasure. This Harvey's was pretty disappointing. It's combined with a swish chalet which is odd enough, but there is only one drive thru for both. I didn't have a line but I can imagine that being a problem. Next issue was the wait. I ordered my food, paid, and had to wait ten minutes before I could get my toppings. Normally not an issue except that I was the only person in the restaurant, and after paying it seemed every employee disappeared until someone remembered there was a customer. Next issue was the gravy on my poutine. I can't be sure, but I think it was swish chalet gravy? Either way it was disgusting, which was super disappointing because Harvey's usually has the only good fast food poutine. I'm only giving it three stars because my burger was great.
