do not trust this place. MY MOM’S PHONE GOT STOLEN BY THE OWNER

we had the worst experience here that me and my mom never would have thought would happen. MY MOM’S PHONE WAS STOLEN BY THE OWNER AND WE ONLY GOT IT BACK BECAUSE WE CALLED THE POLICE. long story short, my sister, my mom, and i, sat down very briefly as we were going to order food. however, we were in a rush and after a while of 0 service, we decided to just leave. we realized 10mins later that we didn’t have my mom’s phone, so we went back. the phone couldn’t be traced, went straight to voicemail. weird right?

the owner basically ignored us, other customers were calling us rude and insulting when we were just asking if he had seen the phone ( we never accused him of anything) one man in particular was so ignorant and disrespectful, other people eating there were laughing at us. we left with the most humiliating experience.

we basically just gave up after this, and we literally went to buy a new phone because we looked everywhere and we couldn’t find it. however, we did call the police.

the police followed up with the owner, and after an hour of looking through cameras. HE HAD STOLEN THE PHONE. we are very lucky to have gotten it back. but we were left in shock. not only had he DENIED even seeing a phone, other customers had been laughing at US calling US rude when we simply wanted to ask him if he had seen it.

it was humiliating, embarrassing, and shocking. i cannot judge them on the food, but if an encounter this short with the owner was enough for him to steal our phone, i think this shows you where this place’s...

Tried this place tonight based it’s rating and thought we would try something new,, called order in as we approached Calgary .. we said 20 minutes they said will be ready ...perfect ... confirmed order twice with him, picked up order 25 minutes later and still had to wait, got home and wrong order .. called and said husband was bringing it back ..if it was anything I would have eaten i would have just said .. no prob .. was told it would be ready right away .. got there and had to wait, for 10 minutes ...meanwhile trying to keep other stuff warm in oven .. when my husband arrived back home ... other food was dried up, (appetizers), my soup was half spilled in bag as the lid was not on .. and the original wrong order came back with hubby (???) ,,,.. and the final straw, there was a price difference and the refund was not offered (in the owners pocket) nor was there any compensation (perhaps a small spring roll or ?? For the inconvenience).....we did get a ‘sorry’ . so in the end, we got ‘fair’ food, (curry lacked flavour) wrong orders, the business got ‘our’ money (no refund offered) and I got half the soup i ordered and none of the Thai basil, bean sprouts etc that should have come with the meal ... the website says ‘dine it’ but it is a small, cold area .. not somewhere that would be comfortable for dining it.... ... there are lots of noodle places around us that have ‘great’ food, ,, other options our there so ..unfortunately unlikely we...

I have been visiting this place on and off for many years. I watched it all. I gave this owner many years to improve his customer service issues. This place is one of the worse places I have ever visited long before writing this review. Based on food, it's accualy not bad, rating 3 out of 5 stars. However, service is the down fall of this business. The owner runs it 24/7. He will hand you out one napkin at a time. WHO GIVES YOU ONE NAPKIN WITH PHO?? COME ON OWNER.!! 🤔 He will ask little kids who are walking on top of him seating area to seat down in the most inappropriate way possible. Even the parents of those children expressed their opinion in front of me and walked out on the spot. This is one of the most cheapest and rudest business owners I have ever met in my life. Very expensive compared to many other greater Vietnamese place to visit in Calgary. I have seen him in person been rude to people who are customers based on the way their kids are behaving. KIDS ARE KIDS. LET THEM RUN AROUND THE WAY THEY WISH. MAYBE, YOU YOURSELF, OWNER, need to remember how you were as a child?? I also, saw this male owner always yelling and disrespecting his spouse who is always cooking in the back. TRUST ME YOU GUYS, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. IT IS...
