My most recent visit here was one of many disappointing ones. To start, there is an advertisement on the exterior of the resuraunt that features a $14 lunch special. The special consists of the main dish, a drink and a desert. When I entered, it was apparent that the advertisement was old, as I was told the price was now $16 for the lunch special. I understand that prices change over time, but it would be nice to have updated advertisements, so customers aren't dissapointed when they find out that the real price is $2 more than the advertisement. After ordering, my disappointing experience was only going to get worse. When the food finally arrived, we noticed that my Alfredo sauce looked much darker than my brother's (we ordered the exact same dish). Have a look at the photo I took comparing the two, attached to this review. Not only did the sauce look different, but it also tasted burnt. Despite this, I was still able to eat most of my dish, but the experience wasn't over yet. Also, outside the restaurant is a sign claiming that if you spend $40 or more, you get free breadsticks. Our food cost over $50, but we didn't receive the breadsticks right away. I had to go up to the counter after we finished eating and ask for them. Considering I had to ask them to basically follow through with their advertised promotion makes me wonder how many people have been cheated out of this offer before me. Needless to say, I do not think I will be coming back to this location anytime soon, as it is not the first time I have been dissapointed with their the food or service. If you enjoy food from this chain, I would recommend driving the extra distance to their Deerfoot Meadows location, as they seem to be much more consistent when it comes to both the quality and taste...
Read moreWent last night for our anniversary since lock down we had to carry out. We tried calling dozens of times to make an order but lines we're busy so we drove there and ordered in person. I had to repeat my order over 3 times and the lady still missed the cheesy garlic toast, so we had to go in, pay the $5 and wait again for our order. Come home, take a picture then dig in. Almost ZERO sauce! I'm flabbergasted! My pasta was over $23, and dry/oily and no creamy sauce. Same with my SO's dish. I had such high hope for this place because it looked clean, and was one of the only Italian places in our vicinity. I'm super disappointed and tried calling the manager there today but no one's in. Going to try Monday. I've heard they are notorious for no sauce. Will not recommend or go back unless they change they sauces(or lack of), feeling super ripped off. Only upside is the staff(super friendly, the lady even gave me a mask, she's super sweet, and the cooks, they keep everything clean and presentable) will not recommend or go back based on lack of sauces and the other reviews saying it's always like that. PLEASE change your recipe to include more sauce, with all the add on we added, it was quite expensive for what we got. We love to support local small shops and are rooting for you, so if you made those small changes, im sure you'll get even more customers(or repeat ones).
Signed, Italian foodie and hopeful repeat customer
Another positive note, their covid policy is great and they keep hand sanitizer at till and I watched them wipe down and sanitize machines often while waiting for food. So they actually care about...

Ready to place our order:
let me tell you about our special, kids eat free with any purchase of $20 or more
Great, thanks, we proceed to place our order for order for an adult meal And the Kid then orders gnocchi Manager: “Hey kid, do you want the kids size or Adult size?”
Kid : after manager Showing the difference in portion size - the kid asks for the adult size
let me tell you about our special, kids eat free with any purchase of $20 or more
As you can imagine either I’m missing the joke or the manager is a trained robot without a common sense Mode as he has clarified that my kid wantes the adult size meal and still proceeds to tell us a 3rd time about the promo “ let me tell you about our special, kids eat free with any purchase of $20 or more”
I must have missed the punchline…
Long story, we got told to leave for questioning the managers common sense based on this debacle!
It’s a shame as we really enjoy rhe restaurant typically but have never experienced a level of critical thinking so low before!! Apparently we hurt his feelings by questioning his level of...
