KFC — Restaurant in Calgary

Absolutely Finger Licking Good ! This location cooks GREAT Chicken ! Fresh, made to perfection, not greasy, crispy and original options, polite, very clean, fast within 5 minutes, understanding crew. One individual Lady and another individual Men's washroom. Super clean. Had a four piece dinner, half crispy ( leg and thigh ) and half original ( thigh and breast ). Breast piece was a substitute for the rib. Crispy option at the moment of writing is only available on Tuesday and Thursday ! Great Service. I dined in, there are two tables for four, two tables for two, four bar table type seats together. Not big by any means, but still worked when I was there at 7:35 pm on a Tuesday. Krystal and Justine working the cash were very polite and knowing, Raymart is the great cook, excellent to what we want from KFC to be. The shift manager, Archie kept it all running smoothly, great team. They immediately cleaned after the table was cleared of customers. Air conditioning ran perfect and well ventilated. Not too cold at all, didn't sweat while eating. VERY Comfortable for eating on a very hot day here in Calgary. Have ordered buckets with large fries before for takeout. Equally perfect and fresh, and within 10 minutes. Loads of parking outside, and next to liquor store and bank. If heading east on TCH ( 16 Ave N.W. ), just turn right into parking lot before 19 th street N.W.. Go back out that way to continue east on TCH after eating. Very convenient ! IF you miss it going east, to go eat, just turn right ( south ) on 19 ST. and then right again immediately around the bank. If heading west on TCH, AFTER North Hill Mall on the left, turn left ( south ) on 19 ST. , turn right immediately to go around the bank to the parking and KFC. Super easy. To continue west after eating, backtrak to 19 ST. where you entered first to eat, can only then turn right on 19 ST., because of median, but turn right into the strip mall with the dental clinic right away after getting on 19 ST.. Go south to the 14 Ave. We are talking seconds here .Turn left and left at light to go back to 16 Ave, and left on 16 AVE to go west. Done in seconds. Like a little horseshoe because of the road median on 19 ST. Super easy, especially for Great KFC. I've always had great service and food at this location at different days of the week and...

Drive to another location if you want to have a decent meal, you’re going to end up wasting time and money at this location.

The staff is the highlight of my experience as they are condescending and impolite. Basically they are untrained staff who aren’t aware of basic customer service and hygiene.

Order preparation took 15 mins although it was a meal for 2 although there wasn’t a big line up, just one other person who ordered before me.

Order came out and it was incomplete. They missed part of the order and blamed me for not ordering it. Although the person repeated the order to me thrice to confirm it.

Finally order is complete and they hand over the disposable drink container with the lid of the container facing down on the counter where all the orders are being placed and receipts and everyone’s hands. I mean it’s basic hygiene to not rub the parts of the container on dirty surfaces which will be in contact with the food.

To top it all off, the prices on the KFC app are less and they are charging more in store. Usually ordering through an app is more expensive but anyhow not going to visit again.

Worst KFC I've ever been to. They are fairly new...first time I went there took 25 mins to get my order and there was only 1 other customer in the restaurant with no delivery orders coming in.

Second time - I did not get my macaroni salad!

Third and most likely the last time was yesterday, they told me no more crispy chicken...they didn't run out...they were just too lazy to make more!

They also put bbq sauce on my order as reflected on my receipt even though I ordered honey mustard...which I didn't get either of!

Chicken was so small and bland...fries were the worst I've ever had.....

Icing on the cake...they forgot my macaroni salad again!

At this point this establishment owes me at least $6 dollars for the 2 missing macaroni salads...which based on other reviews and my experience with this location....not even worth going back to ask for...
